L’oreal Paris L’or Sunset Color Riche Le Vernis Glitter Flaming Sunset : Review, Nail Swatches & Pictures
Hello Lovelies!
How are you all doing today? I’m pretty stoked about a family vacation we cousins have been planning for a long long looong time! Its so hard managing everybody’s schedules and then finalizing the location. OH MY GAWD! If you come from a big punjabi family with one barely being able to hear the other among the excited blabber and yelling (that too on phone) you will understand just what a big achievement it was when we finally fixed a place! Anyway, there is so much packing to do but I couldn’t help squeeze in this post just to show you girlies what I’m wearing on my nails for the trip. Its none other than L’oreal Color Riche Nail Paint in the shade Flaming Sunset. It looks so gorgeous & OMG I can’t stop fawning over my hands :p

First off, this is my first time reviewing a nailpaint here and I really suck at clicking my hands. I don’t know how some of you talented nail artists do it everyday because I found it ‘oh so tiring’ and actually irritating! So do ignore the not so pretty NOTD pictures!
The Le Vernis Glitter Range was introduced by L’oreal for the 2013 Cannes Film Festival and is supposed to be Limited Edition though can I still see them all over the market :p But thats a good thing coz I’m in love with it!
It comes in a classy rectangular glass bottle with a golden cap which looks very exquisite. I quite like the look of these and love seeing it on my dresser
Flaming Sunset is a black nailpaint with a twist. I’m definitely not a fan of black nailpaints since they’re sooo 2011 :p and I avoid it like the plague. However, the L’oreal nailpaint has chunky hexagonal gold glitter which looks very different and shiny-shiny like a discoball :p I love how the golden glitter looks on a black base and creates a stunning effect when the light hits on it. This is my favorite shade from the whole range!
The texture of L’Oreal Le Vernis Glitter Nailpaint is slightly on the thicker side though it is definitely not gloopy. I get an opaque finish in 2 coats and I’m surprised the gold glitter shows up so well despite the black blase.
The nailpaint dries off quickly so feel free to touch you hair after a min or so of application. I usually get so irritated when I change my nailpaint and I have to curb the habit of constantly setting my hair. Do you do that too? 😀
The worst part about the nail paint is the wear time. The nailpaint starts chipping off by the second day and by the 3rd or the 4th day I have remove it. Plus, the removal is such a pain in the a** but then that is the case with all glitter nailpaints,so not gonna cut points for that!
HBM Rating
HBM Recommendation: L’oreal Paris Color Riche Le Vernis Glitter in the shade Flaming Sunset is a stunning black nailpaint with chunky gold glitter. It looks simply stunning and is quite eyecatching. It is the best glitter nailpaint I’ve ever used despite it getting chipped in a couple of days. I can’t get enough of Flaming Sunset and I highly recommend it if you love all things sparkly!
