Packaging
The Lakme Eyeconic White Kajal comes in an a color coded white pencil form. It is retractable and you do not have to sharpen it which saves a ton of product.The cap fits and shuts tightly hence it wouldn’t come off in your bag making it travel friendly. I love the color coded packaging which eases identification and I really hope Lakme does the same with the other shades as well!

Texture & Pigmentation
The kajal has a very soft and creamy texture which glides on like butter. It does not tug at all during application but I do see this breaking a bit because of the buttery texture especially in summers.

Lakme Eyeconic White Kajal is decently pigmented and it gives an opaque finish in a couple of swipes. It also easily shows up on my waterline and this doesn’t look as stark I expected it to look on me. Somehow the NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk looks alot whiter and plain weird on my eyes unlike this one!

Staying Power
Lakme Eyeconic White kajal has a pretty decent staying power and stays put on my eyelids for more than 6 hours after which it starts fading. On my waterline it stays put for 3-4 hours and then you can only see hints of it but that could be because I have very watery eyes! Once set this is totally smudge and waterproof and did withstand vigorous rubbing!

It did not however deliver on the 10 hour claim though the darker shades from this range do last a longer time!

I love the kajal for its versatility. There are so many ways you can wear this as an eyeliner and you can also use it as a base. It does not crease for a long time and really pops out the color of the eyeshadow. Lakme Eyeconic White kajal also looks very pretty as a browbone highlighter.

Lakme has done a fabulous job with this white kajal. Be it the pigmentation,texture,staying power or the intelligent packaging. This is the most affordable retractable colored eye pencil in the market and I’m sure it will be a big hit with the girls this year!

HBM Recommendation: Lakme Eyeconic Kajal White is a fabulous matte white eyepencil with a creamy texture that glides very smoothly on the lids. This is one of the rare white eyepencils that shows up on the waterline without much effort making the eyes look fresh and bigger! Lakme did a stupendous job with the Eyeconic white be it in terms of texture,pigmentation,staying power or the extremely affordable price tag. I highly recommend it! ♥
