Packaging
Colorbar Pout In A Pot comes in a classy silver cardboard box which mentions all the necessary details like the ingredient list, price and other details. The product comes in a transparent pot with a silver lid that also contains a small lip brush which is convenient for touch ups. It has a small mirror inside which makes application much easier while on the go. Colorbar always impresses with their packaging and the Pout In A Pot is no exception.
Shade
Colorbar Pout In A Pot Charming Pink is well, anything but pink on me. Its a warm rosy coral which looks more pink on medium to dusky skintones. This shall flatter all skintones and is quite wearable. I am a sucker for such rosy lip colors as they look great on our Indian skintone.
Texture
The Colorbar Pout In A Pot has an extremely creamy texture with a buttery soft consistency. The lipstick umm gloss? is quite hydrating and is a boon for dry lips. It applies evenly onto the lips and does not settle into fine lines but it does have a tendency to bleed due to the creamy texture. The lip color gives a glossy finish but its not as high in shine like a lipgloss.
Pigmentation
Most of the shades are well pigmented. Colorbar Pout In A Pot In Charming Pink offers medium pigmentation in one swipe which can be built up to an opaque finish. Those with pigmented lips will surely love the coverage and those who like wearing sheer lipcolors can always apply a lighter coat.
Staying Power
Since its quite creamy the wear time isn’t that great. Colorbar Charming Pink stays put for only 2-3 hours with full intensity but it does not require an immediate touch up as it leaves behind a strong coral lip stain. The lip stain lasts on and on hence needs to be removed with a makeup remover.
Overall, I quite like the product and do not mind the price tag as it offers good pigmentation and the texture is absolutely gorgeous. I also love the packaging, it is intelligent and makes touch ups a breeze.
