But when I received this absolutely gorgeous lipstick from Inglot I just HAD to review it for you guys ASAP. So today we have Inglot Matte Lipstick 425 under the spotlight which could very well be a perfect MLBB for medium to dusky skintone!

Packaging
The Inglot Matte Lipsticks come in the regular Inglot packaging ie a stylish black casing with a sticker below identifying the lipcolor. I totally adore the packaging of all Inglot products as they looks stylish and classy! The cap shuts tightly and will not come off in your bag making it travel friendly. The only issue is that you cannot easily identify a particular shade unless you can memorize their numbers.

I have this sudden urge for nude lipcolors these days which is so unlike me as I love my bright and bold lipsticks but my heart was set on this Inglot 425 Lipstick. It is a medium toned and a subdued pink with a slightly peach undertone. It looks more peachy in the bullet but turns out more pink upon swatching.

I was hoping this would be my MLBB (my lips but better) but its a bit too dark for my NC 30-35 complexion. However, it still looks great on me and could definitely be a great MLBB option for medium to dusky complexion and will not wash them out! I also noticed that Inglot Matte Lipstick 425 looks quite similar to MAC Mehr, what do you think?

Texture
Inglot Matte Lipsticks are slightly drying in texture but apply with ease and do not tug or pull. When I had gotten the lipstick, the bullet looked so creamy and moisturizing that I felt it’d be similar to L’Oreal Moist Matte Lipsticks in texture however these are completely matte hence require proper exfoliation before application. I did not find it uncomfortable to wear despite having dry lips!

Pigmentation
Inglot Matte Lipstick 425 is well pigmented and a single swipe gives a great color pay off. This will fully cover pigmentation of lips 1-2 swipes hence will be a boon for those with pigmented lips. I have only used a single swipe on my lips in the pictures and you can see just how gorgeously pigmented it is!

Staying Power
Being a matte lipstick Inglot 425 scores quite well in the wear time. It easily lasts upto 5-6 hours including drinks and food. I have had a full meal while wearing this lipstick and it survived well which very rarely happens. You certainly do not need to bother with touch ups when you have this on. Yay! It is also transfer proof so no nasty lip stain on cups or glasses 😀

Inglot products are available in most of the major cities India and can be bought online at Majorbrands. The quality is top-notch and I do not mind shelling out 950 bucks on a Inglot product as compared to spending on Lakme & L’Oreal as this scored well on all the parameters plus you get 4.5gms of product which would last forever!

1) Can be a bit drying for those with dry lips
2) It is not easily identifiable incase you own more than one lipstick from Inglot

HBM Recommendation: Inglot Matte Lipstick 425 is a beautiful and wearable mid toned pink which could be the perfect MLBB for medium to dusky skintone. It has a matte finish, lasts a really long time and is well pigmented. The formula could be a wee bit drying for extremely dry lips and they might require a lip balm underneath. I’m thoroughly impressed with the lipstick and highly recommend it!
