As I have mentioned in my previous posts, I love using shower gels and am always on the lookout to try new ones. When I had attended the Iraya event a couple of months ago they gave me their Grapes & Green Apple Shower Gel to try out. I love fruity scents so I was quite excited to use this shower gel. Read on to know my experience with it?

Packaging
The Iraya Grapes & Green Apple Shower Gel comes in a sturdy and long plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. I love shower gels that comes with a pump dispenser as it becomes so much more easier to use the product. It has all the necessary details like the ingredients, claims, expiry date etc mentioned on it. Overall I quite like the packaging though it might not be so travel friendly.

Fragrance
When it comes to bath and body products, the fragrance or the scent is my main criteria. Unless, it smells amazing I’ll very rarely use it. This has a yummy fruity and sweet scent which totally uplifts my mood. Its not too strong so wouldn’t bother those with a sensitive nose. The fragrance only lasts a few minutes which is a huge bummer for me 🙁

Texture
The Iraya Grapes & Green Apple Shower Gel is greenish yellow in color and has a runny gel like consistency. It spreads pretty easily onto the skin and lathers well. The shower gel does not lather as much as a soap but pretty well as shower gels go.

Efficacy
It adequately cleanses the body and gets rid of the dirt and grime. My skin does not feel slippery but it tends to feel a bit dry so I follow it up with a lightweight moisturizer. The shower gel is perfect for summers and I’ll definitely repurchase it once I run out of it.

1) A lightweight gel like consistency which spreads easily on the body
2) Lathers well for a shower gel
3) It has a sweet and fruity scent which feels quite pleasant
4) Adequately cleanses the skin from dirt and grime
5) Suitable for normal to oily skin

Cons
1) The fragrance does not last long
2) The bottle isn’t that travel friendly
