The Lakme Gloss Addict Lipsticks come in a grey cardboard box which has all the necessary details mentioned on it. The lipstick itself has a transparent cap along with a sleek metallic grey body. Due to the transparent cap it gets much easier to locate a particular shade in hurry. Though the packaging seems alright but I have noticed that the cap is a bit loose and might just come off in your bag!

Lakme Gloss Addict- Pink Temptation is an alluring warm pink with a slight coral undertone. The shade is absolutely divine and perfect for summers! I love such fun pinks and I see this being a hot favorite among girls especially for a date! It should flatter light/fair skintone beautifully but will definitely look pale on those above NC40-42! However, you can make it work by pairing it with a bold eyeliner or light smokey eyes 🙂

These lipsticks score pretty well when it comes to the texture. It has a creamy and super hydrating formula which just melts onto the lips! It gives a glossy finish to the pout however I have noticed that Lakme Pink Temptation does tend to settle into fine lines a bit!

Lakme Gloss Addict Pink Temptation is a sheer lipstick which can be built to a semi opaque pigmentation. I love such lipsticks as they are very wearable and make me look made up but not too made up. You know what I mean,right?

Lakme Gloss Addict ‘Pink Temptation’ does not give full coverage but does cover lip pigmentation to an extent. If you have heavily pigmented lips then sadly this won’t do much for you and you might require a lip pencil underneath.

Staying Power
The staying power of the Lakme Gloss Addict Lipstick is pretty average. Being a light color it lasts only 3 hours on me and since it does not stain the lips I require an immediate touch up. Pink Temptation does not survive a meal or a snack and I usually do not mind this aspect since I cannot expect a creamy lipstick to survive food but then for 800 bucks I was expecting much more!

Worth the price tag?
Though I adore the beautiful color, hydration and the glossy finish I do not feel that high price tag is justified. It lasts only 3 hours, settles into dry patches and is sheer which is a con for many(though not me). I much prefer the L’oreal Rouge Caresse Lipsticks even though L’Oreal ones do not have as tempting shades as the Lakme Gloss Addicts!

1) A gorgeous warm pink with a slight coral undertone
2) A fun, girly and peppy color which is perfect for a date
3) Extremely hydrating hence a boon for dry lips
4) Gives a lovely glossy finish to the pout
5) Sheer in pigmentation but can be built to a semi opaque finish
6) Comes in a huge variety of 15 shades!
Cons
1) The price is pretty high for Lakme. I would’ve adored this lipstick had it been around Rs 500-600 mark
2) The staying power could’ve been better
3) The cap feels a bit loose and might come off in you handbag/purse

HBM Recommendation: Lakme Absolute Gloss Addict in Pink Temptation is a girly pink with a coral undertone. This would flatter fair to medium skin tone quite well and is extremely hydrating! I adore the glossy finish and how comfortable it feels on the lips but the price and average staying power turns me off 🙁
