Packaging
The Lakme Eyeconic Kajal Green comes as a black retractable pencil with cyan markings. Since it is retractable you do not have to sharpen it which saves a ton of product.The cap fits and shuts tightly hence it wouldn’t come off in your bag making it travel friendly.It looks exactly like the black kajal barring the tiny marking of ‘Green’ which is mentioned at the end of the pencil. It does take me awhile to identify it among my other Eyeconics and I wish this was color coded too like the Lakme Eyeconic White

Shade
Lakme Eyeconic Green is err not green. Its a deep green with teal undertones when swatched but on my lids its a very vibrant and gorgeous teal shade. It is matte and if it looks a bit shimmery on my eyes then its because I had applied a pearlescent eyeshadow underneath. I love the fact that it is matte so it is safe to apply this on the waterline.

Texture & Pigmentation
The kajal has a very soft and creamy texture but it is not overly creamy like the white so it does not break during application. Eyeconic green also does not tug and gives a good color pay off in one stroke. You can easily build it up and get an opaque finish in 2 strokes and ta da you’re done!

Staying Power
The kajal has a superb staying power and stays put on my eyelids for more than 7-8 hours after which it starts smudging/fading. I have extremely watery eyes and it stays put for about 4 hrs on my waterline which is pretty decent.

The best part it is that does not irritate my eyes or sting like most colored liners do! Once set this is totally smudge and waterproof and does withstand vigorous rubbing!

Pros
1) A gorgeous teal blue which will look stunning on the Indian skintone
2) It has a creamy and soft texture which does not break
3) Does not tug during application and glides on like a dream
4) Decently pigmented and easily shows up on the waterline
5) Long lasting and stays put for about 8 hours on my lids which is superb!
6) It is smudge proof and water resistant
7) The cheapest retractable colored pencil in the Indian Market!

1) Does not deliver on the 10 hr claim
2) Wish it had a color coded packaging to ease identification!

HBM Recommendaion: Lakme Eyeconic Green is a gorgeous teal eye pencil which has a creamy texture and does not tug. It did not sting my waterline and easily showed up on my lids. I can’t praise Lakme enough for such a great quality product and pricing these new Eyeconics soooo well despite it coming in a retractable pencil form. If you love colored liners then the new Lakme Eyeconic Kajal colors are a must have!
