Packaging
Like every other TBS Body Butter, the atlas mountain rose variant is also packaged in a simple tub with a screw on lid. Due to the tub packaging, you need to scoop out the product with fingers which can be a bit unhygienic however a tube packaging wouldn’t be feasible considering the thick consistency, hence no complaints in that aspect.

Texture & Scent
The Body Shop Rose Butter is creamy white and thick but still lighter in consistency compared to the TBS Cocoa Body Butter. The air whipped and super soft texture melts into the skin and gets absorbed easily. It does leave a greasy or an oily film but might be a bit too heavy for the hotter months.

The best part about The Body Shop Butters is the addictive fragrance. TBS Atlas Mountain Rose Body Butter smells pleasantly of roses, nothing too strong or artificial. The scent always puts me in a good mood and those who like floral scents will certainly become a fan of this. I’ve read this is lighter that the TBS Moroccan Rose Body Butter hence the staying power is low as well. The scent lingers on only for 2-3 hours.

The Body Shop Rose Butter is suitable for those with dry to normal skintype. It keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day and is perfect for use in winters.My skin feels softer and smoother after every use and I do not feel the need to for a re-application with this one.

The main issue I have with TBS is the price! At Rs 1395, I’d rather go for something more affordable like Palmer’s Cocoa Butter which works equally well minus the beautiful rose scent. Also, this is part of their limited edition range so you’ll have to wait for them to re-launch it India to get your hands on it.
