10 Healthy Drinks That Aid Weight Loss: How To Lose Weight Fast!
Losing weight tends to be on top of the list for most youngsters today. With the increase in junk food, energy drinks, desserts and regularly eating outside, maintaining our weight seems to be a daunting task. We try to hit the gym regularly and workout, control our portion intake and follow a healthy diet which are all good for weight loss. Apart from that, do you know that consuming certain drinks regularly can aid and fasten your weight loss?
Here, I will list down some drinks that you can easily prepare at home and how they help lose weight fast.
Honey and Lemon Drink
This is by far the most popular drink that most of you would be aware of. Simply add two
teaspoons of honey in a glass of warm water and squeeze the juice of a fresh lemon. This has to be taken on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning. It helps to cleanse and detoxify the body. Honey also enhances metabolism and suppresses sugar cravings. This is one of the best drinks to lose weight.
Black Coffee
Having a cup of black coffee without milk or sugar is an effective drink for losing weight. It raises body temperature and stimulates metabolism. It also helps to suppress appetite for a long time.
Green Tea
Some of us don’t like the taste of green tea. But green tea has a whole lot of health benefits with one of them being weight loss. It boosts the body metabolism and helps to burn 3-4% more calories. The active compounds in green tea can stimulate fat burning hormones. So its a good idea to start incorporating green tea in our diet everyday. You can have it hot or cold, as you prefer. But weight watchers should take care not to add sugar.
Vegetable Juices
Blend your favorite veggie like cucumber, carrots, cabbage, tomatoes or spinach into a juice and consume everyday. They are rich in fiber and low in calories. Having a glass of vegetable juice will control blood sugar levels and balance hormones, resulting in overall fat reduction. My favorite vegetable juice for weight loss is just blending two carrots with a slice of ginger and adding a teaspoon of honey to it. It will keep you full for a long time.

Ginger is well known in Ayurveda for its slimming and weight loss properties. It enhances metabolism and eliminates toxins from body. Lemon, on the other hand, is packed with vitamin C which helps reduce fluid retention. Boil a cup of water and add a slice of ginger to it and cover with a lid. Let it steep for 5 minutes. Add lemon juice and consume on an empty stomach in the morning. This helps you lose weight quickly.
Detox Water
Detox waters help you to stay hydrated throughout the day and also controls cravings.They cleanse the body, eliminate toxins and other harmful chemicals. It is the fastest and simplest way to lose weight. Just add some sliced oranges, cucumber and mint leaves
in a tall jar. Let it sit for a couple of hours and then keep sipping it throughout the day.
Cinnamon and Honey Drink
Cinnamon regulates blood sugar levels and gives a sense of fullness. It also helps to break down body fat. Boil a cup of water and add half a spoon of cinnamon to it. Let it settle for 10 minutes. When it cools down, add a teaspoon of honey. You should never add honey to hot water as it will destroy the nutrients in it. For an extra zing, add a dash of lemon juice.
Peppermint Tea
This refreshing drink helps to process fat quickly which makes it ideal to have after high-calorie foods like burger, pizzas, etc. It also prevents bloating and is an effective belly flatten-er.

Pineapple Smoothie

Finally, here is a DIY drink which contains a combination of various weight loss ingredients and is very effective if consumed twice daily. Blend a cucumber, a slice of ginger and a bunch of cilantro. Squeeze the juice of a lemon and add 1 tablespoon of fresh aloe vera juice. Add required water and consume.
