Packaging
The Lakme Pure Rouge Blusher comes in a purple-maroon plastic casing with a see through lid. The blush also comes with a brush which is sort of useless especially as a blush brush but could probably work well as a contouring brush provided you blend it well with a separate brush. I wish it came with a mirror but barring that aspect I don’t really have any issues with the packaging.

Shade
Lakme Pure Rouge Blush in Honey Bunch is a warm mid toned brown with a bit of a satin finish. This might work well for dusky beauties as a blush as it would add a certain glow to their complexion but I feel it works best as a contouring powder for light to medium skintones. Though it has a slight sheen in the pan but that does not translate onto the cheeks. I have the Sleek Contouring Kit and the contouring powder is exactly like this- not too muddy, not too orange- JUST PERFECT!

Texture
The Lakme Pure Rouge Blush has a soft and satiny texture. It does not emphasize my pores and blends like a dream. Since its really soft the brush does tend to kick up a bit of product making it a wee bit messy.

Pigmentation
Honey Bunch has medium pigmentation – gives a light wash of color in one swipe which can be built up to the intensity you like. I always prefer blushes with such pigmentation as they are not only perfect for beginners but in this case it makes it a beautiful contour product . You don’t want to contour with a powder which is highly pigmented and will easily give a muddy finish.

Staying Power
The Lakme Rouge Blusher- Honey Bunch scores well in this department as well. I easily get a wear time of about 5 hours which can be increased by wearing a primer underneath. It fades evenly and does not get patchy making it perfect for parties as well.
