Winters mean hot chocolate, sexy boots, trench coats and lazy mornings, err NOT! Winters have never been my favorite season and this year its playing havoc with my skin and hair. My hair is dry all year round so thats fine but my skin has never been this parched and dehydrated before. The ZA Total Hydration Toner is packaged in a wide pink plastic bottle with a screw on cap. I wish the toner came with a spray nozzle since I’m the biggest lazy bum. The packaging has all the necessary details mentioned on it including the list of ingredients and date of expiry. I have never really used a hydrating toner before since my combination-oily skin has always needed a bit extra to control the sebum. However, with my skin acting up weird I felt it was perfect to give this a go.
ZA Toner Review
ZA Total Hydration Fresh Lucent Toner has a very mild fragrance which does not irritate the senses. It feels just like water and does not feel sticky. I was surprised to find that it contains alcohol in its ingredient list which is known to further dry out the skin however I did not face any such issue. Despite containing alcohol it did not irritate my skin or lead to breakouts. Overall, its a decent quality product which makes my skin healthy when used in combination with the other products from the range. Its expensive for a toner but a little goes a long way and the bottle will last you a good amount of time.

The ZA Total Hydration Energy Mist is packaged in a tiny pink plastic bottle. It comes with a spray nozzle that spritz a fine mist evenly. I usually need about 2-3 pumps to cover the face and neck area. I use this on days when my skin is feeling completely parched and top it up with the ZA True White Emulsion. Somehow, the ZA Total Hydration Gel from this range does not feel as hydrating hence I’ve switched back to the emulsion.

I never felt I will be a fan of facial mists since most of them add a dewy finish to the face and all these years I’ve looked for products to make my skin look as flat and matte as possible. However, after I started using the Avene Thermal Spray my opinion about facial mists completely changed and I’ve been on the lookout to try other variants ever since. The ZA facial mist adds a healthy glow to my face and I love its soothing mild fragrance. Its a multi purpose product which I use for moistening my brushes, beauty blender and even as a setting spray. I’m totally hooked to it this winters and definitely recommend it even though it is priced slightly higher in comparison to the other variants.
