I love the fact that it does not come in a tub packaging(you all know how much I detest those 😐 ) and is travel friendly. Just pop it in your clutch and you’re good to go 😀

Texture
The Avene Lip Balm has a very hydrating yet lightweight texture. Due to my allergies acting up again my lips are getting very dry and this instantly moisturizes my lips. I have been using this even while sleeping when I obviously do not need any sun protection because of its hydrating texture 😀 Those with chapped lips are bound to love it!

The lip balm has a slight powdery sent to it which is common across the range. It will not bother you even if you have a sensitive nose and fades away upon application.

Efficacy
I have been wearing this everyday for the past 2 weeks especially while going out in the sun. I love the fact that this is waterproof so you can even apply this while swimming and protect yourself 😀 It was high time that brands started providing higher protection against the sun for our lips and I’m glad Avene has catered to our needs.

Staying Power
This is a clear lip balm which has a decent wear time. It stays put for about 3 hours after which I need a re-apply it. It does not dry out my lips and I do not need an immediate re-application.

The only issue is the price. Its certainly quite high for a lip balm though a lip balm that provides high protection against the sun. However, since its Avene( a reputed french luxury brand which many people swear by)  I guess it justifies the price. Much better than spending 400 bucks for a tinted lip balm on Lakme methinks 😉
