The Biotique Basil Soap comes in a dark green cardboard box which mentions all the necessary details like the product claims, date of expiry, price etc. The soap is wrapped in an additional plastic film which I certainly appreciate, the lesser the chances of tampering the product, the better.

The Biotique Basil & Parsley Soap is a clear green soap which has a cuboid shape. It has a pleasant and slightly floral scent which isn’t too strong. What attracted me to the product was its impressive ingredient list. Biotique Bio Basil & Parsley Revitalizing Body Soap contains basil, parsley, margosa aka neem, wheatgerm & coconut oil for hydration so that the skin does not get dry like it does after bathing with a soap.

Basil & Neem are renowned for their anti bacterial properties while parsley is a natural anti oxidant and is known to be a vitamin rich powerhouse. Wheatgerm & coconut oil on the other hand are hydrating agents which prevent the skin from getting dry or stretchy after usage. The soap lathers quite well and adequately removes dirt & grime from the body without drying it out though I can’t comment how well it will work for dry skin.

HBM Recommendation: Biotique Bio Basil & Parsley Revitalizing Soap is a great natural cleanser for the body which lathers well and removes the dirt quite well. It does not dry out my skin or give a stretchy feeling due to hydrating ingredients like coconut oil & wheatgerm though this might be drying for beauties with dry-normal skin especially in winters. Overall, I quite liked it 🙂
