As you all know I recently attend a Bobbi Brown event where we were given a preview of their latest launches. One such product that will launch in India in June is the Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner. Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliners need no introduction and what could be better than having the smoothness and creaminess of Bobbi Brown’s iconic Gel Eyeliner in a pencil form thus offering more control and precision, right?

Packaging
Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner comes in a retractable pencil form hence you do not have to sharpen it which saves alot of product. It comes with a sharpener which is tucked at the bottom so that you can sharpen the tip and draw your eyes ever so precisely. It has a colored end which eases identification in case you own more than one of the shades.
Shade
Bobbi Brown Perfect Defined Gel Eyeliner in Pitch Black is a true black eye pencil. Unlike most of the shades in the range it has a matte finish and is perfect for everyday wear. It is certainly not the blackest of blacks but will show well even on deeper skintones.
Texture
The Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner Pencils are the smoothest and creamiest eye pencils I’ve used till date. It sure glides on easily like a gel eyeliner and does not tug or pull during application. Absolute LOVE!
Pigmentation & Staying Power
The gel eyeliner is decently pigmented and shows up quite well on the waterline. I only need 1-2 swipes to get a good color pay off. What impressed me the most was its staying power! The first day I applied it I went for an hour of cardio in the evening and it hadn’t budged one bit. Now that is some wear time. I was pretty impressed by it, to say the least! Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner will surely be my go to liner this summers so as to not to end up with panda eyes 😀

Nice review by you Lisha :) but as a customer/public/makeup addict (lol) I Don't think it looks anything like a gel liner and would never buy this for 2000 bucks ( while I can get 12 Colossal kajals for the same price! (12!!) only reason why I could see anyone buying this would be they are brand loyalists but who can I blame when Revlon and colorbar are going mad with the prices ,BB is atleast high end!

aww then I really think you should atleast try this once before forming an opinion about it. While I agree with you that the Maybelline Colossal is a great value for money but its almost laughable to compare Maybelline to Bobbi Brown. Thats like telling someone you'd rather buy their lipsticks than spend 1200 bucks on MAC!
Bobbi Brown never claimed to be a "budget brand" (unlike some of our drugstore brands) and at the end of the day it all really depends on your trust on the reviewer!
Hey, calm down girl....I was just saying it does not look as black like a gel liner nor have I seen matte gel liners so I do not see why anyone looking for a gel liner would buy this I was commenting on the product and NOT your review, and I had already seen you got it as a PR product so I was not reffering to you as a brand loyalist ! and the collosal thing was obviouslly a joke!
I Know BB is not a drugstore brand but let's face it, most people would not buy a 2k eyeliner!
I Don't know where the trust on reviewer thing came , it was only an opinion on the price of the product and NOT you, your review, your blog or anything!
Its not an intense black which I think I clearly mentioned and if u read the review I found the texture and staying power pretty darn similar to a gel eyeliner. As for the brand loyalist part I do not see how that is supposed to offend sumone and neither did I call you out on it! Also, I personally know quite a few people who will easily spend this sort of money on an eyeliner! but really why does it matter to you or me? Its upto the brand LOL They obviously drive sales hence the prices!
And ofcourse since it does not "look" like a gel eyeliner to you without even swatching it once sounds to me you don't give 2 hoots about anyone's opinion who BTW has used it numerous times :)

Great review and pictures. I've never tried any liners from Bobbi Brown. I kind of wish it was more pigmented considering the price.
Its actually quite pigmented. Its just not the blackest of black. Do check out the other shades in this range. They are GORG!
Seems like a great product!!! But this is pricey. I think we would get a better and blacker liner in lesser cost. But then it is Bobbi Brown, we can't complain about the price.!!!!

Luschiiiii love... here come your gorgeous eyes once again... Killer eyes babe... you wink and you can see a row of fainted men for sure, and when you flutter those beautiful eyelashes, another row will follow :-) Loved the fact that this is a retractable pencil. I will still prefer to opt for Bobbi's gel liner in the classic tub form, but waiting to see some more of these colours. Lovely EOTD as ever...
