With the onset of winters, my love for TBS has been re-ignited again. If you’ve been following my blog since last year then you’ll know why that is. I am the biggest fan of their body butters, so much so that I ended up buying 7 full sized ones last winters. So yeah, I’m set for the next 7 years but that surely wouldn’t stop me from buying more. Anyhoo, today I’m not reviewing their body butters but another great product which is perfect for winters and that is TBS Tea Tree Cool & Creamy Face Wash.

Product Description

Packaging
The TBS Tea Tree Cool & Creamy Face Wash comes in a plastic squeezy bottle with a flip open cap. The packaging is simplistic and convenient with all the necessary details like the list of ingredients, price, expiry etc mentioned on it. The cap shuts tightly hence will not leak if you travel with it.

Texture
The Body Shop Cool & Creamy Face Wash is white in color and like the name suggests is creamy and thick in texture. The face wash has a tea tree scent which many would find pleasing but I personally am not too fond of it. The face wash provides an instant cooling effect thanks to the methanol in the ingredient list which I quite enjoy especially during the warmer months.

Efficacy
The face wash does not lather as much as most of the face washes I’ve used in the past but manages to remove dirt and grime quite effusively. I love the fact that it does not strip off the natural oils and the face does not feel dry or stretchy which is one of the reasons why I prefer it for the colder months as my skin gets too dry. This is perfect for dry to combination skin type but might not be as suitable for oily skin.

As for the claims of reducing redness or blemishes, I can’t comment much on it as I do not have redness and I doubt if a face wash can show much results on pigmentation. But my face certainly feels clean refreshed and glowing after usage.
