They are not just the easiest way to add a pop of color but also look glamorous and pretty. When I am hard pressed for time I usually apply a black liner on my lid and waterline and apply a bright turquoise eyeliner on lower lashline which looks absolutely amazing! The Bourjois Metallic Eye Pencil comes in a color coded pencil packaging with a plastic cap. It is not a retractable pencil hence needs to be sharpened which leads to product wastage. The shade is easily identifiable due to the color coded packaging and is travel friendly though I would’ve liked it to come with a sharpener as well for more ease.

Bourjois Vert Pepite is a beautiful turquoise blue with a metallic finish. I am a huge fan of turquoise as it really brightens up the eyes and this is one of my favorites! This would suit fair to medium skin tone quite well but might be a bit too stark for dusky complexion. Even though it has a metallic finish but it does not look OTT and can be easily worn during the day as well. I highly recommend this peppy shade for college going girls!

Texture
The Bourjois Effet Metallise Metallic Eyeliner has a very smooth and creamy texture. It glides easily and does not tug or pull. The eye pencil isn’t overly creamy that it would break during application which is one of the many things I love about this product. However, the creamy texture does lead to more wastage during sharpening which is quite a bummer. I hate spending so much on eyeliners which I need to sharpen as they turn out even more costlier.

Pigmentation
Bourjois Metallic Eyeliner Vert Pepite is well pigmented and shows up easily on dark lids. One swipe gives a good color pay off but I usually line my eyes twice for a vibrant and bright finish. Pigmentation wise it definitely scores well!

Staying Power
The Bourjois Effet Metallise Eye Pencil is smudgeproof and does not budge once it is set. The liner has managed to survive the hot Delhi summers without smudging one bit which is truly impressive. For reference, I do not have oily lids but I’m sure this would perform well on those who do! I need a waterproof makeup remover or baby oil to completely clean it off.

Availability & Price
Bourjois products are still not easily available in India and are only accessible by people in major cities which can be an issue for many. Online websites do stock their products but most of the times you don’t get access to all the shades from the range. As for the price, it is on the higher side considering you need to sharpen it which leads to wastage but I really like the color and quality is top-notch so I’m ready to spend on it but it’s always best to buy Bourjois products when they have some offers running on them.
