Bourjois Little Round Blush Rose Frisson 54 Review & Swatches
Bourjois Rose Frisson Blush 54 Review & Swatches
Hello Girls!
Its been awhile since I last reviewed a blush here, so today I decided to review this lil cutie from Bourjois called- Rose Frisson. BTW they are officially called Bourjois Little Round Blushes and that is such an apt name for it,no?
Products Description
Our timeless blusher has been around for almost 150 years and have made Bourjois famous worldwide thanks to its amazing texture and packaging. The baked texture transforms when applied to the skin into an ultra-fine pressed powder, which is easy to apply and blends impeccably. One stroke of the brush reveals the irresistible aroma of the rose scented powder. Its built-in mirror and brush is perfect for touch-ups on the go! The Little round pot blush exists in 12 shades to match all skin tones.
Price: ₹ 850 ( they hiked the price soooo much! )
Quantity: 2.5gms
Available online at Nykaa & Flipkart
Packaging
The Bourjois Blushes come in a little round packaging which is small enough to fit in most of the clutches. Since the packaging is color coded it eases identification and the pan contains a little mirror and a brush once you open the it. I find both of them useless but I guess it might come in handy for a touch up.
Shade
Bourjois Rose Frission is a soft rosy pink with a slight coral undertone. The blush contains very fine shimmer which isn’t that noticeable once applied and adds a lovely glow to the face This will look extremely natural on lighter skintones but might not show up well on dusky complexions!
Texture
It has a smooth texture which is not chalky. I wouldn’t say Bourjois Rose Frisson has a very soft and silky texture but it isn’t too powdery or dry either! The blush blends easily and does not accentuate my pores.
Pigmentation
Rose Frisson is sheer but it can certainly be built up. Since its a baked blush it tends to lose pigmentation if not used regularly so I recommend scratching the surface a bit if you’re facing issues with the pigmentation. It will show show up well on light to medium skintones but might not on dusky beauties.
Staying Power
The blush has a wear time of about 3-4 hours after which is starts fading and requires a touch up. Its fades evenly and does not look patchy. This a great blush for everyday use but it might not be suitable for parties or events when you require a long staying blush.

The Bourjois blushes can be bought at Bourjois counters at Westside and Parcos Stores. It can also be bought online at Nykaa & Flipkart.

HBM Rating
HBM Recommendation: Bourjois Rose Frisson is beautiful rosy pink which looks extremely natural and gives that just pinched look. It will flatter light to medium skintones and might not show up on dusky complexion. Rose Frisson is a great quality blush but I feel the price is just too much. I don’t see myself spending Rs 850 bucks on a blush from a drugstore brand. However, if the price point is not an issue for you then this is definitely worth buying otherwise I’d suggest waiting for a good discount.
