Casual OOTD: Ahoy Summers!
Indian Fashion Blog: Casual OOTD- Ahoy Summers!
Hey Girls,
Though it is raining in many parts of the country but it is still extremely hot in Delhi so I decided to do an everyday casual look perfect for summers! This is how I usually dress up though minus the contouring I guess 😀
If you have been following me on Facebook then you would know I recently chopped off quite a few inches of my hair! However, besides reducing the length the hair stylist seems to have given me the sort of haircut your mom would. You know ‘put your hair in a pony and chop it off’ kinds 😐 I have decided to wait a couple of months before I get it rectified as I’m too scared to lose more length!
Delhi has many affordable options for girls on a budget especially when it comes to clothing! You can get good quality stuff at affordable prices at places like Janpath & Sarojini Nagar so I recently decided to skip branded stuff and do an outfit post on a budget. I got this gorgeous sheer blouse with a studded collar all for 300 bucks! I paired it with a pair of basic black shorts that I have had with me for years!
As you can all see the sorry state of my hair, the only thing I can do to make it look a little decent is a side braid! I think side braids are perfect for the season and when paired with soft wavy hair it looks casual yet chic.
I love wearing wedges as they are ‘oh so comfortable’ and these denim bow wedges are my current favorites! Also, you must’ve noticed I’m in love with the aztec print trend so I completed the look with a white aztec wristwatch and a black sling bag which I forgot to photograph!
Outfit
Sheer Blouse: Sarojini Nagar, Delhi
Shorts: Sparkles, Chandigarh
Bow Wedges & Aztec Wristwatch: Sammydress
PS: Pls ignore the bad hair do. I’ll be having having bad hair days for the next 2 months.
PPS: The rude and not so pleasant expressions are because there were too many men constantly staring at me while I was getting myself clicked despite my mum telling them off. Its shocking how indecent Indian men can be!
