Urban Decay Naked 2 & 3 Palette Dupe: Coastal Scents Revealed 2 Review, Swatches & Price
Urban Decay Naked Palettes used to be the ultimate eyeshadow palettes for neutral lovers. However, now there are so many more options available that they have lost the charm for me. I wanted similar shades but didn’t want to spend a bomb on it coupled with the shipping charges. Since Coastal Scents Revealed 1 was such a great dupe of the Naked 1, I decided to get Coastal Scents Revealed 2 Palette as well which is said to be a dupe of Naked 2 & 3 Palette.

Packaging
The Coastal Scents Revealed 2 Palette is packaged in a slim cardboard packaging with a magnetic flip. The packaging is almost identical to the Revealed 1 making it a bit difficult for me to easily identify a particular one. It contains 20 eyeshadow pans which are divided into 2 rows. The palette does not contain a mirror or an applicator which isn’t a con for me as I rarely carry palettes with me for touch up. The packaging is very travel friendly and does not take up a lot of space.
Shades
Unlike the Revealed 1 which contained warm browns and golds, Coastal Scents Revealed 2 has more cooler tones. It primarily consists of rosy shades, pinks and taupes. The palette contains a variety of finishes like matte, shimmer and sparkle. It is perfect for creating daytime as well as glamorous looks for the night. From highlighters to darker shades for the outerr corner, the versatile palette has you covered.
Texture
The eye shadows in the Revealed 2 Palette vary in texture. The matte shades are very creamy and soft. The shimmer shades also have a satin texture however the sparkle eye shadows feel a bit gritty. It also results in a bit of fallout. Overall, 85% of the shades are smooth and easy to blend.
Pigmentation & Staying Power
Most of the shades are beautifully pigmented and show up even without an eyeshadow base or eye primer. I was surprised with the color pay off from the matte shades as usually such colors lack pigmentation. Coastal Scents did a great job with it considering the price. I get an average wear time of about 3-4 hours without a primer after which it starts creasing. With a good eyeshadow base, they stay put for a solid 7-8 hours.
Compared to the UD Naked Palette, the Coastal Scents Revealed 2 Palette contains most of the colors and then some. You get one Naked Palette for $54 and this UD dupe costs only $20 for 20 shades. I personally think that there isn’t much of a difference between the 2 in terms of the texture, pigmentation and staying power hence the Revealed 2 is clearly a better purchase. Coastal Scents keeps running offers from time to time so do watch out for those to save up on the shipping.

HBM Recommendation: Coastal Scents Revealed 2 Palette is a great versatile palette which contains a beautiful combination of pinks, browns and taupes. It’s super affordable and is a great dupe of the Urban Decay Naked 2 & 3 Palette.
