Being a hoarder of eyeshadow palettes, it’s a surprise that how rarely I review them. Talking of eyeshadow palettes, neutral shades have been trending for quite sometime now and the Urban Decay Naked Palettes are undoubtedly the most popular ones. Well, I don’t own any UD palettes because I have its closest dupe- Coastal Scents Revealed Palette which I shall be reviewing and swatching today.

Coastal Scents Revealed Palette Review, Swatches & Price: UD Naked Palette Dupe

Packaging
The Coastal Scents Revealed Palette comes as a slim cardboard case with a magnetic flip. There are 20 eyeshadow pans divided in 2 rows. The palette does not contain a mirror or an applicator which would’ve been a great addition aiding touch ups but for the price, I really cannot complain. The palette is ultra light and extremely travel friendly as it does not take up alot of space.

Texture
The Revealed Palette has a very smooth and soft texture. Barring a few matte shades, most of them are very buttery and apply easily. They blend easily and I’ve faced minimal fallout with the shades. That said, some of the eyeshadows from the bottom row like the black and blue do have a tendency to fallout hence you need to be a bit careful while working with them.

Shades
The Coastal Scents Revealed Palette contains a beautiful mix of neutrals ranging from beige, taupe, golds and coppers. It is one of the best affordable neutral palettes available in the market and can be used to create a myriad of looks. Be it a neutral cut crease to bold smokey eyes, I use this all the time for my eyemakeup these day.

Pigmentation & Staying Power
The CS Revealed eyeshadows are beautifully pigmented and show up easily on the eyelids including the matte shades. They are much more vibrant with a primer underneath and last a good amount of time. The eyeshadows stay put for about 8-9 hours on me after which they start creasing which is really decent for such an affordable palette

Urban Decay Naked Palette vs Coastal Scents Revealed: Comparison

So Urban Decay Naked Palettes have alot of dupes including this Tmart dupe that I got ages ago. However, the Revealed palette is one of the closest dupes I’ve comes across. It contains majority of the shades from Naked 1 and quite a few from Naked 2. I had a chance to try out the Naked palette when I went to Hyderabad to meet my friend and while the UD eyeshadows definitely felt a bit more creamier and pigmented, the difference is hardly much. At $19.95 for 20 eyeshadows and the UD Naked being priced at $54 for 10 shades, the CS palette is a clear winner. You get a great deal for the price though the international shipping charges can be a bit high hence I recommend waiting for their sale.
