Easy Everyday/ Office/ Neutral Eyemakeup Step By Step Tutorial
Hello Darlings!
Today, I’m doing a tutorial for you girlies. I had taken a sabbatical of sorts when it came to them and I haven’t done one in many months! So please go a lil easy on me. I decided to do a look that is pretty darn easy and can be done in 5 mins flat. You can wear this just about anywhere especially office and during daytime! Its easy, peasy and breezy! So lets get started ♥
Step 1
Start off by prepping and priming your lids. Use a concealer to conceal your dark circles and make sure you use an orange color corrector if you have deep dark circles like me. Its always best to apply a primer after your concealer to keep your eyeshadow from budging or creasing.
I use Lotus Herbals NaturalBlend Stick as a concealer as well as a primer as it makes for a great base. You can apply the concealer with your finger or use a synthetic concealer brush for this step.
Step 2
Next, take a flat eyeshadow brush and apply a neutral peachy eyeshadow. I’ve used one with a pearl finish as its easier to photograph. You can use whichever finish your like.
Step 3
To make the eyes look bigger we are going to define the crease. For this step you can use a brown, black or any neutral eyeshadow darker than the lid shade. I’ve used a browny coral shade to compliment the peachy lid eyeshadow. I prefer using a pointed crease brush for this step and then blending it out with a fluffy eyeshadow brush(something like Vega PB 15 or Colorbar Blending Eyeshadow Brush) after it.
Step 4
Eye makeup is never complete without highlighting your browbone. Even if you’re doing a daytime look its always essential to highlight it. Since we’re aiming for a look apt for office we’re gonna use a matte finish eyeshadow which is one shade lighter than your skintone. You can even use your compact powder for this step. I like using my doe foot applicator brush from the Coastal Scents kit but you can always use a fluffy blending brush for this step.
Step 5
Complete this look with a thick/thin liner on the upper lid according to your personal taste. Keep your lower lashline bare and apply loads of mascara. This will make your eyes pop out and look so much more bigger. You can even apply a nude eyepencil on your waterline if you want but I feel it barely shows up so I prefer keeping my waterline bare. Pls skip applying a white eyepencil on your waterline as it looks very weird and OTT especially for the workplace IMO.
However, if you feel uncomfortable without a kohl then feel free to tightline(apply kohl on both upper and lower waterline). Go thick with the liner on upper lid if you’re keeping your waterline bare and thinner if you’re tightlining. Don’t forget to fill in your brows as well.
This is one of the easiest and the least time consuming looks making it perfect when you’re in a hurry as well as for beginners. You can try many variations by using different eyeshadows. I hope you liked it and will give it a try 🙂
Since this is a daytime look, I suggest pairing it with a light peachy pink blush (something like Maybelline’s Peachy Sweetie) and soft pink or coral lips(something like Bourjois Peach On The Beach Lip Crayon).
