Estee Lauder recently launched their much acclaimed perfume – Modern Muse in India. I was really excited to attend the event and inadvertently I ended up dressing like the Modern Muse as well. Scent
The perfume oozes femininity and classiness in each aspect- be it the packaging, the bottle or the sophisticated scent. The perfume smells quite floral on me primarily of jasmine which is sensual and appealing but with a slight amber-musky tone to it. The scent smells different on different people and a blogger who loves musky perfumes felt it was more musky than floral on her.

Staying Power
It is perfect for all occasions, be it day or night as it is not too strong and is very pleasing to senses. Everytime I wear it, I not only feel feminine and classy but numerous people have asked me about the perfume I’m wearing that day. Its not too overpowering making it perfect for day wear as well. I very rarely wear perfumes as I have an extremely sensitive nose and most of the raved about perfumes give me an headache. I did like DKNY’s Red Apple but it was a little too sweet for me at times. This is the perfect combination of floral and musky notes and never irritated me. The perfume is long lasting and stays put for 8+ hours on me.

HBM Recommendation: Estee Lauder Modern Muse EDP is aimed at the strong and confident woman with a her own intrinsic femininity and individual style. It smells feminine, classy and sophisticated. Modern Muse primarily smells of jasmine with a bit of musky note to it. If you’re one of those people who love floral and sensual perfumes which are not too strong then you must give this a try.
