Faces Canada Glam On Prime Perfect Pressed Powder 01 Ivory Review, Swatches & Price India

Faces Canada is one of my favorite Indian brands and I adore their Glam On Lipsticks. Recently they launched their Ultime Pro Lip Creme along with their Perfect Pressed Powder Compacts. I have been on the lookout for a good yet budget friendly compact for awhile now so read on to know if this ended my search.

Packaging
Faces Pressed Powder comes in a very classy black compact packaging with metallic detailing. It is packaged in a black cardboard box which mentions all the necessary details.The Faces compact comes with a decent sized mirror and great quality puff which aids touch ups. I love the luxurious packaging and it is very travel friendly.
Texture & Shade
The Faces Prime Perfect Pressed Powder has a soft and silky texture. It applies easily and does not look powdery or cakey. I really like the texture as most of the time I skip a foundation for daily wear and go out with just a moisturizer and compact as a base and usually most of them settle down into my pores.
As for the shade selection, I think there are 3 or 4 shades available in the new Faces Glam On Pressed Powder range. I was matched to 01 Ivory which is perfect for fair skintones. It has a neutral undertone hence looks perfect with MAC Pro Longwear Foundation which has a strong yellow undertone. The shade match was quite close and looks quite natural on me.
Coverage & Efficacy
The Faces Canada Compact provides sheer to buildable coverage. The coverage is quite decent for a compact and hides minor flaws well. I haven’t been able to test this out in the Delhi summers but it was still quite hot here awhile back and it performed quite well. It kept my combination skin shine free for 5+ hours and it’d interesting to see how well it performs in summers.
Price & Availability
At 600 bucks this is certainly not the most budget friendly compact but it is definitely the one that has satisfied me the most till date. I’ve tried many option from Lakme, Maybelline, L’Oreal and this is the one that I absolutely love. I could not find this online but I believe this easily available at Faces stores and counters.

2) Does not look chalky or too dry
3) Controls oil/shine well for upto 5 hours
4) Gives decent coverage for a compact
5) Comes with a great quality puff and mirror for touch ups
6) Decent shade selection which will suit the Indian skintone

1) A little on the expensive side

HBM Recommendation: Faces Canada Glam On Prime Perfect Pressed Powder has a beautiful silky texture which does not look cakey. It keeps the shine at bay for good amount of time and has decent staying power. The finish is beautiful and the shade selection is good which is bound to suit the India skintone. The cost might be a bit on the higher side but it is well worth it.

I am impressed with this compact which gives 5+ hours effect. Lisha I have a question: When exactly we can use compacts? I have a mind set it is used only in summers not in winters, Is it?
Yes thats because we sweat less in winters hence less chances of your makeup melting off. Its primarily used to set your base makeup or can be used on its own for some coverage for daily wear.
It has such a cute packaging, and if it controls shine for up to 5 hours I am definitely gonna give it a try !

Thats true but compared to that I like this better as this one provides much better coverage. Though for the price they really cant be compared
