Packaging
The Faces Pro Lip Creme come in a tall cylindrical tube with a black cap. The tube is see through hence you can easily identify a particular shade incase you own more than one shade. The lipgloss applicator is quite different, it is a flattened sponge tip which applies the product easily and evenly including the corners of the lips. The packaging looks quite attractive and I just hope the silver lettering doesn’t end up getting scratched in my handbag which would end up looking sooo ugh!

Texture
The Faces Lip Creme has a thick and buttery texture which is very hydrating. It does not settle down into lip lines but does bleed a wee bit initially. Despite the thick texture, the lip creme does not feel heavy or sticky. It has a glossy finish which settles a bit as time wears off.

Pigmentation
The Faces Ultime Pro Lip Cremes are exactly like lipsticks in a liquid form. They are highly pigmented and a single coat gives a saturated coverage. This will be a boon for those with highly pigmented lips and will not require a lip liner underneath.

Staying Power
I usually never get an amazing wear time from glossy lip products, but the Faces Lip Creme lasts on and on. I have gotten a minimum wear time of 5 hours including drinks and snacks. Ofcourse the intensity reduces with time but does wear longer than most lip products and rarely requires a touch up.

I have 2 shades from the Faces Ultime Pro Lip Creme range – Nude Mojito & Pink A Colada. Faces Nude Mojito is totally the best nude lipgloss or lipcolor for Indian skin. It is a beautiful beige color with a pink undertone. The shade has enough pigment to not wash out the warm Indian complexion and looks absolutely gorgeous. I have officially found the perfect nude lipcolor for my skintone.

Faces Pink A Colada on the other hand is a bright and stunning hot pink. A must have in every Indian Bride’s Trousseau as it instantly perks up the complexion and is perfect for parties or a night out. Its one of my favorite pink lip colors at the moment and I have been wearing this out often.

The quality is fabulous but I still find the price a bit too high though Faces Ultime is their pro range hence the prices are a bit steep. However, I feel 500 bucks would’ve been more appropriate.

HBM Recommendation: Faces Ultime Pro Lip Cremes are extremely buttery and hydrating yet feel amazingly lightweight. The pigmentation is just so intense and the staying power is superb. It is exactly like a long staying lipstick but in a creme form making it easier to apply. I do find the price a bit high but if that is not a concern than you’ll surely love the range!
