Faces Ultime Pro Metaliglow Review, Swatches, Price & Buy Online India- Opal, Champagne & Topaz
Most of us want to get a naturally glowing skin but you know what they say, fake it till you make it . My favorite product that I rely on for that purpose is – highlighters! My skin has been pretty dehydrated and dull lately and they have been my saviours! We don’t have alot of options when it comes highlighters or illuminators in India especially with drugstore brands. However, Faces recently re-formulated their Ultime Pro Metaliglow which sounded very promising. It comes in 3 shades- Opal, Champagne & Topaz which I’ll be swatching and reviewing today.

Product Description
FACES METALIGLOW is a collection of gel based illuminator that glides easily, brightens the complexion and adds instant luminosity. Ultrafine light-reflecting pearls melts into the skin for a polished, natural-looking radiance. It has high percentage of thin pearls to deliver a precious, homogeneous glow. Its aqua based formula leaves a cooling effect on your face. It is dermatologically tested and paraben free.
Packaging
The new Faces Metaliglow Highlighter is packaged in a plastic pump bottle which is much more travel friendly and convenient to use in comparison to the older one. The pump needs to be pushed a few times initially but after that it works pretty well. The bottle is not opaque hence you can easily distinguish between the 3 shades and the plastic packaging makes it perfect for travel.
Texture
The Faces Ultime Pro Metaliglow is a gel based illuminator which is lightweight and does not feel greasy. I usually feel that liquid highlighters don’t work well for someone with oily skin but since this is an aqua based formulation it does not budge. The Faces highlighter blends easily but it sets quickly, hence you need to be a bit fast during application as once set it does not blend at all and might end up looking patchy. This could be a bit tricky for beginners and might require some practice.
Shades
The range includes 3 shades- Opal, Champagne & Topaz which caters to a variety of skintones. Opal is a cool toned pearly pink suitable only for those with pale complexion and pink undertone. Champagne is a beautiful gold-champagne highlighter perfect for most Indian complexions with a yellow undertone. Topaz is a bronzy gold which would flatter medium to dusky complexion. Personally, my favorite is champagne which will look good on just about everyone and is a safe bet incase you’re ordering online.
Finish & Usage
The Faces Ultime Pro Metaliglow has very finely milled shimmer which adds a beautiful glow to the skin. The shimmer is not OTT and the finish is natural but noticeable. If you want your glow to be popping then you’ll probably have to layer it up. I prefer applying and blending this out with my fingers and you can use it in multiple ways. You can either dot the product on your face or mix it with a foundation or your body moisturizer for a body illuminator. Its a versatile product that I’ve been using often. Compared to the Revlon Photoready Skinlights Face Illuminators, the Faces one provides a better glow and pigmentation.
Staying Power
The Faces Metaliglow is a long lasting product, making it perfect for parties and events. It stays put for a decent 5-6 hours after which it fades a bit. For the price, this is a great value for money and definitely one of the best liquid highlighters/illuminators in India. If you’re a bride to be then you this should definitely be in your wedding trousseau.

I love using highlighters....I have been using chambor one which is pretty decent. Would try the Topaz one as a bronzer though..
Topaz isn't so warm as it looks in the bottle. It looks equally natural if used as a highlighter.
Mixing it with the foundations sounds like a great option for dull and tired skin. The shade champagne looks the best.
I do that all the time whenever my skin needs that extra kick :p
