Faces Ultime Pro Mineral Loose Powder Review, Swatches, Shades, Price & Buy Online India
Though the weather in Delhi is getting a bit better these days but it is still very humid to wear any makeup outside. Whenever I’ve dared to do so, I’ve only ended up sweating buckets. These days my makeup routine includes slathering on a good face sunscreen followed by mascara, nude lipstick and a mineral foundation. Mineral powders are great for summers as they keep the face matte, are lightweight and do not clog the pores. The mineral powder that I’ve been using and testing for quite sometime is the Faces Ultime Pro Mineral Loose Powder which I will reviewing and swatching today.

Packaging
The Faces Mineral Powder has a very unique and attractive packaging. It comes with a silver top with a handle that has a soft and dense sponge attached to it. Then comes the sifter through which you can take out the loose mineral powder by tapping the packaging. I’ve read that many people find the packaging bulky or cumbersome but I completely disagree. Most mineral powders have a bulkier packaging (read L’Oreal Mineral Foundation) and the packaging is very travel friendly since it comes with a sifter and a sponge for an easy touch up. You just tap the jar, twist the cap, dab and you’re done. On the other hand if you prefer applying loose powder with a brush then it can be a bit annoying to constantly tap the packaging to take out the product.

Texture
The beauty of the Faces Loose Mineral Powder is the texture. The powder is very finely milled and has a silky smooth texture. It blends like a dream and does not feel dry or chalky unlike other loose powders. It has the perfect consistency to be used a setting powder especially for the under eye as it does not settle into fine lines. Since it is a non-comedogenic product, it does not clog the pores and is perfect for oily-acne prone skin type.

Coverage & Staying Power
Even though the product does not state it as a mineral foundation I was still expecting good coverage. The Faces Ultime Pro Powder provides sheer to buildable coverage so its better than a translucent powder but not as great as a mineral foundation when it comes to the coverage. On most days, I can get away with applying this over my sunscreen but incase I get a breakout, I dab some concealer as well.
Faces Ultime Pro Mineral Loose Powder Review, Shades & Swatches
The staying power of the Faces Ultime Pro Loose Mineral Powder is great and it stays put for a good 4-5 hours on me despite the really hot and humid weather. It provides a silky matte finish which is perfect considering how oily sunscreens can be. The mineral loose powder is available in 5 shades and below are the swatches.

Faces Ultime Pro Mineral Loose Powder Shades, Swatches & Review
Now, do not go by the numbers of the shades as the lightest shade is numbered 5 and the warmer shades are somewhere in the middle. Since the coverage is pretty light, one can get away with a color which is slightly too dark or ashy for their skintone.
Faces Mineral Loose Powder 01 Honey Beige: One of the darkest shades in the range, this should suit medium to dusky skintones well. Glad to finally see some options for our dusky beauties.
Faces Ultime Pro Mineral Powder 02 Ivory Beige: A yellow toned beige color which suits fair skintone well. I have tanned arms so it’s looking a bit ashy but the shade looks very natural on my face.
Faces Ultime Pro Mineral Loose Powder Swatches & Review: Honey Beige, Ivory Beige. Sand Beige, Golden Beige, Natural Beige
Faces Ultime Pro Loose Mineral Powder 03 Sand Beige: One of the darker shades from the range, this will suit medium skin tone really well.
Faces Ultime Pro Loose Powder 04 Golden Beige: In the pan the shade seems to have a very strong orange undertone. However, upon application it adapts to the skintone and is perfect for fair-medium complexion.
Faces Ultime Pro Mineral Loose Powder 05 Natural Beige: The lightest shade in the range, it has a pink undertone and will only flatter someone with a pale complexion. Probably a good shade for brightening the under eye area.

Overall, I love the texture and quality of the new Faces Mineral Loose powder. The price is a little steep for the quantity and I just wish it had a slightly better coverage.

HBM Rating
4 / 5(Reviewed by Lisha B.)Faces Ultime Pro Mineral Loose Powder Review, Swatches, Shades & Price
HBM Recommendation: Faces Ultime Pro Loose Mineral Powder is one of the best setting powders I’ve used. It has a silky smooth texture which imparts a matte finish that isn’t too drying. Being a loose powder, it provides a light coverage which stays put for a good amount of time. The packaging has both pros and cons but in my mind that isn’t a deal breaker. Wish the quantity provided was a bit better but if you’re looking for a great loose powder in India then you must check this out.
PR Samples. However, my opinion remains honest and unbiased.

Hieee lee ? would you prefer this over the L'Oreal mineral foundation???
Hey babe, depends if you're looking for coverage or a setting powder. Somehow the L'Oreal one accentuates my pores but if I want higher coverage, I'll go for that one.
The packaging is really cute.
