GM Diet Plan Vegetarian/ Eggetarian Diet Chart: My Daily Meal Plan Day 5
Hi everyone,
So I’ve managed to get through the harder days of GM plan diet and its Day 5 now. I have never managed to cross Day 5 simply because I get tired of curbing myself. However, this time things are different and my will power to complete the diet keeps increasing day by day. On day 5 of the GM diet, the body’s protein requirements are addressed. The GM plan diet suggests eating beef with 5-6 tomatoes however there are always vegetarian alternatives. Do check out my post on GM Diet Plan & Chart to know how this diet works and its meals.
You can also read about my experience with GM Diet Day 4 here. Below, is the complete eggetarian GM diet plan for Day 5 with vegetarian alternatives!
Breakfast: I’m a very picky eater and hate legumes which is the vegetarian alternative to beef. Luckily I like eggs hence I had an omelette of 2 eggs with veggies like tomatoes and onions. Make sure you use good fat like olive oil or ghee to cook it and vegetable oil should be avoided. If you do not eat eggs you can have legumes, a bowl of brown rice (throughout the day) or sprouts.
Lunch: The breakfast was very filling and I did not feel hungry for a long time. I had a late lunch and again an 2 egg omelette. The diet recommends you have the egg yolk as well since it is rich in nutrients and good fat. You can have 3 eggs per meal on Day 5 of the GM diet.
Evening Snack: I also hate eating tomatoes, raw or cooked. So my mom blended 5 tomatoes with bottle gourd/ghia and made a juice out of it. This was veryyy filling and didn’t taste so bad.
Dinner: By now I was tired of the eggs so I opted for moong dal sprouts which we lightly heated in a microwave. Added chopped tomatoes, onion and ginger to it. Topped it with lemon, a little olive oil and some chat masala. Tasted so so good 😀
If you are following a Vegeterian GM Diet for Day 5 I suggest you have curd (which is the good fat you need) You need good fat if you replace meat so make sure to add some amount of ghee/olive oil to your dishes. I do recommend brown rice instead of white on GM Diet Day 5!
I did not have adequate water today as something or the other kept happening throughout the day and I was just so tensed. I’m hoping tomorrow I follow all aspects of the the GM Plan religiously. I didn’t feel light headed or any weakness today and the GM Diet Plan recommends increasing your workout by Day 5. However, the lazy bum that I am stuck to walking my dog for like 20 minutes.
Just 2 more days to go before I end the GM diet plan. Let me know if you have any tips to keep the weight I shed at bay so that I don’t end up gaining it all back. See you tomorrow 😀

Hi Lisha I have a question....so you say your hunger pangs reduced by day 3 as you didn't eat ur usual meals but tried the gm diet
But I am wondering why or how is not feeling hungry a good thing? Or is feeling less hungry sign or good metabolism? Pls answer I'm curious
I have very very low appetite......you won't believe what I eat and survive on everyday
But since I am commenting l will share it
Breakfast. Tea. and 2 biscuits
Lunch. Noodles in soup......I mean chow mein noodles cooked in soup like soup noodles.....there r many days I skip even this
Evening plain tea
Night. Rice lil bit of lentil soup(dal). Aloo ki sabzi or one boiled egg
This is no dieting but my usual diet
I feel hungry at times mostly not
I m 5'4 and 45 KGS
So is this that my metabolism is good or bad
PS once upon a time I had large appetite then I got a week of food poisoning and didn't eat all week...that was some 12 yes ago
Hi Ria,
Its always a good thing have small portions but regular meals. Your diet is alarmingly inadequate. Since I am going through a detox I had to avoid certain foods but you must have a a balanced diet consisting of carbs, fat, protein and minerals.
If you do not feel hungry at all then I suggest you see a doctor who can help you out better!
Yes Ria, I totally agree with Lisha. You should immediately see a doctor first thing in the morning tomorrow. This is not at all a good sign. I had this problem a year or two ago, and the reports came out to be so-so horrible (Deficiency of vitamins). You are underweight as well for your height. Hope you get well soon, Love. Take care :)
U r always awesome lisha
Well done Lisha... I am starting from tomorrow..hopefully... ;)
