OOTD: Alice in Wonderland
Indian Fashion Blog: OOTD- Alice in Wonderland
Hello Girlies,
I’m back with another outfit post from WIFW 2015. This is what I wore on Day 4 and I’ve already shared my Day 3 Outfit here . For us fashion lovers/bloggers, Fashion Week is our mecca and each day felt like a fantasy, a dream. Alice in Wonderland felt like the most appropriate title for this look and the exhilarating week. The best way to while away time in between shows when at fashion week is by getting some OOTDs clicked and this is probably one of my favorites!
I came across this FABULOUS website recently called Lookbook Store which has the prettiest of dresses with the sexiest of cuts and designs. Their collection screams girly and chic and I can’t wait to stock up on their winter wear and with smexy trench coats. In this OOTD I’m wearing a beautiful white lace maxi dress with sheer 3/4th sleeves.
It is the sort of dress which despite being an informal number looks very elegant and chic. This comes with a pretty braided leaves belt which adds to the beauty of the outfit. I have usually comes across flowing maxi dresses but this one not only hugs my figure attractively thereby accentuating my curves but is still flowy and comfortable unlike a bodycon.
Floral Crowns are all the rage and go extremely well with maxi dresses. I got this beautiful floral crown from Bows R Wows and girls if you are looking for the cutest bow accessories at pocket friendly prices then you better check out their page. You can also get the accessories customized according to your needs and the quality is pretty good. Don’t forget to check out how I styled another floral crown in this OOTD
I wore a regal red statement ring to go with my bright red lips and my ever so favorite Daniel Wellington Classic St Andrews Watch which has become one accessory that I can never leave the home without. For footwear, sandals and wedges look the best with maxi dresses and I opted for my favorite pair- beige aztec print wedges which go well with pretty much all the dresses.
Now I wanted a boho-chic sling bag or tote for this look but you have to be practical when attending the fashion week and need to carry your world inside your handbag. Hence, i opted for my trust old leather tote which managed an extra pair of flats, DSLR, power bank, lunch tiffins (thanks to my GM diet) vanity pouches and what not!
For my makeup I chose bronzed cheeks with bright red lips. For the eyes, I did a quick and easy brown smokey eyemakeup and you can check the detailed tutorial on it here
