OOTD: Sunny Winters!
Indian Fashion Blog: How to style a Blazer/ Power Dressing!
Hello Lovelies,
Winters is well and truly upon us and I have finally realized that there is no point fighting it with my summer dresses and shorts. Luckily the days are quite warm and comfortable and I’ve made a conscious decision to pep up my winters with as much as color as I can this season. Some of you already know my love for power dressing and blazers are the best way to add the authoritative air. Here is how you can incorporate color in your professional wardrobe and make it more fun. You can also check out how to pep up up white blazers here.
I recently got a gorgeous and well structured coat from Sheinside to prepare myself for winters. This hip length ponte coat has sleeves that can be rolled up as per your liking and has a soft satin lining which is of good quality. This boyfriend coat is quite warm and will definitely help me battle the chill this season quite well. The color is very attractive and will look lovely when paired solid color dresses. Everyone certainly needs something like this in their wardrobe season to beat the winter blues.
As many of you know I’m not at all a jeans person and I literally spend my summers in dresses. In winters, I do not have much of an option so I switch between chinos and trousers. One of my favorite pair of trousers is this trusty old pair with chain detailing by FabAlley. I skipped accessorizing the look with a statement neckpiece as the top already had pretty detailing on the neckline.
I paired the beautiful coral blazer with a white polyester blouse. This has a hallow scoop neck which is lined with pearls and the intricate floral design adds classiness and grace to an otherwise simple top. It has a mid length sleeve with a cut out design at the end. I love this top though it is a bit loose on me and requires some alteration. I would love to pair this with a cowl midi skirt as well in the warmer months See how much I miss summers? I’m already planning my outfits for next year season 😀
I put my hair in a ponytail which is very rare and wore a pair of gold hoop earrings by Chic Accessorizer . They sell amazing quality accessories at decent prices and those who love shopping online for fashionable accessories must check them out for their unique and stylish baubles.
Zotiqq is another site which has been quite a favorite with me. I love their monthly jewelery boxes which is a great value for money as you get fabulous pieces at 50%off or more depending on the plan you choose. I paired the stacked pink bracelets that I got in my Zotiqq November Jewellery Box along with the Daniel Wellington Classic Bristol Lady Watch & the Zotiqq Bow Ring.
For heels, I am currently obsessed with Amiclubwear and I finally took out these coral babies out for a ride. This paid is super high at around 6.3′ and has a decent platform heel which makes it easier to walk in, well as easy as you can expect shoes this high to be! I love the gold chains on the back which definitely grab attention.
For my makeup, I chose my favorite look- bold winged liner with lots of mascara and no kohl. On my lips, I chose a bold coral lipcolor- Colorbar Take Me As I Am Peachy Pink. I contoured my face with Sleek Contouring Kit and lightly applied L’Oreal Magique Blush ‘Sunset Glow’ for highlighting it.
