Inglot Eyeshadow 422 Pearl Review, Swatches & Eyemakeup
Inglot Eyeshadow 422 Pearl Review, Swatches, Price & Buy Online India
OMG! I was just browsing through my blog today and I realized its been months forever since I last reviewed an eyeshadow! That must be an absolute sin for an eyemakeup lover and a hoarder of eyeshadows and palettes like me! I recently got a gorgeous shade from Inglot in my kitty which I’m going to review today. Inglot is one of my absolute favorite brands when it comes to eyeshadows as they have a jaw dropping variety of shades which are available in number of finishes. So lets move on with the review.
Price: Rs 560 or Rs 450 for refill
Quantity: 2gms
Packaging
The Inglot Eyeshadows come in a black casing with a screw on transparent lid. You can easily identify a particular shade due to the transparent lid. Inglot eyeshadows are also available in refills which is a better option as they are much more affordable (or so they were before Inglot increased their prices yet again) and the quantity is great too. Though there might be an issue with the storage as you’ll require a magnetic palette for it. I would’ve preferred the full sized product to come with a mirror and applicator to ease touch ups.
Shade
Inglot Eyeshadow Pearl 422 is a chocolate-y brown shade with a beautiful sheen. Its a gorgeous neutral color which does not look boring and will go well with most outfits. I usually dab this lightly for day wear(as shown in the EOTD) or can also be built up for a smokey look. Its quite a versatile color and is currently one of my most used shades.
Texture
I have always had a great experience with Inglot eyeshadows and P 422 didn’t let me down either. It has a silky and smooth texture and does not fall out. It blends easily as well and isn’t chalky. Usually pearl eyeshadows have a great texture but Inglot is one brand that makes amazing matte finish eyeshadows as well so you must check them out.
Pigmentation
Inglot P 422 Eyeshadow is well pigmented and shows up easily on dark lids as well. i wouldn’t say its extremely pigmented but you can easily build up the color pay off in 1-2 swipes. I rarely require a base or primer underneath with this though using one is always recommended as its increases the vibrancy and staying power of the eyeshadow.
Staying Power
Talking about wear time, this Inglot eyeshadow stays put for 5-6 hours without a base. It barely creases over time and when I wear it with a decent quality primer, the eyeshadow stays put pretty much the whole day making it perfect for parties when you need to wear eye shadows for a longer duration of time.
Price & Availability
The Inglot Single Eyeshadows are a wee bit expensive hence I prefer buying the refills which is the same product but an a more pocket friendly price barring the packaging. These used to be for Rs 350 earlier hence a much better deal than what they are now. Inglot products are only available at Inglot store which are located in major cities or online through Majorbrands.
Pros
1) Smooth and soft texture which does not lead to fall out
2) A beautiful chocolatey brown which is quite a versatile color
3) Well pigmented and shows up easily without a base
4) Superb staying power
5) Available in a huge variety of shades and finishes.
Cons
1) Inglot eye shadows are expensive unless you are buying refills
2) Availability could be an issue
