One skincare product that I experiment alot with is face wash. I do not have sensitive skin hence I never end up buying the same face wash and love trying out new ones. Product Description
With extracts of basil and essential oil of mint, this gentle face wash deep cleanses without drying the skin. Purifies and balances removing excess oil and impurities, leaving the skin feeling refreshed and comfortable. Ideal for normal to oily skin.
Usage : Use lukewarm water to moisten the face. Apply and lather onto the face and neck with fingertips. Rinse off. Follow with an Iraya toner for your skin type.

I have already mentioned how much I love Iraya for their intelligent packaging which eases usage of the product. The list of ingredients, claims, price, date of expiry etc are clearly mentioned on the bottle. The pump can be locked thus avoiding spillage making it very travel friendly!

Texture
The Iraya Basil & Mint Face Wash is light yellow in color and is of slightly thick gel like consistency. It lathers quite well and one pump is adequate for face and neck. The Basil & Mint Face Wash completely removes dirt and grime from the face and makes my skin feel squeaky clean.

Scent
Since it contains mint and basil I expected it to smell very herbal or ayurvedic but it instead has a very nice and pleasant scent. The scent is most certainly artificial as basil nor mint smells this way. I really like the fragrance and enjoy using it. However, if you’re the sort who does not like fragrance in skincare products then not need to worry. The scent does not linger on after washing off.

Efficacy
Like I mentioned, it adequately cleans the skin and feels very refreshing. These days its so hot that no matter what I apply it gets removed due to the sweat so I am skipping a moisturizer these days. With the Iraya Basil & Mint Face Wash I have felt that my skin feels a wee bit drying at times unless I use a lightweight serum.

Though this is not a brightening or whitening face wash but it certainly makes my face glow after usage. My face has been looking quite dull and this face wash along with the Lakme Perfect Radiance Serum have been saviour this season.
