As you can clearly tell I have become a huge skincare girl and my bedside table is full of all sorts of lotions and potions 😀 Recently I started using the Jafra Ginger & Seaweed Body Massage Cream and I have already reviewed the Jafra Ginger & Seaweed Shower Gel so don’t forget to check that out as well. Read on to know if I loved it as much as the shower gel or not 🙂

Packaging
The Jafra Ginger & Seaweed Lotion comes in a tall translucent plastic bottle similar to the shower gel from the same range. It has a pump dispenser which eases application and also has a lock mechanism to prevent spillage. All the necessary details like the product claims, date of expiry, price etc are mentioned on the bottle. I quite like the simple packaging but I find it a bit too bulky for travelling.
Texture
The Jafra Body Massage Cream is very lightweight and runny in consistency. It almost feels watery but still hydrates the body quite well.This is perfect for summers and will not make you feel sweaty or greasy. However, if you have extremely dry skin then you might require more moisture and this might not work so well for you.
Efficacy & Scent
Jafra Ginger & Seaweed Body Massage Cream instantly makes my skin soft to touch and smells very refreshing. I still cannot guess what it smells like but it definitely uplifts my mood. This body lotion is being used more by my mom who rarely uses anything in summers on her body and it has made a considerate difference to her skin. It feels quite smooth and has softened her rough elbows.
Availability & Price
Jafra products are only available through their consultants which is a big con since many of us do not have easy access to the representatives. Also, I feel the price of the lotion is a bit too high hence did not earn any brownie points from me for the price tag.

HBM Recommendation: Jafra Ginger & Seaweed Body Massage Cream is a lightweight body lotion which absorbs easily into the skin . It’s perfect for summers as the light consistency does not make the skin greasy. I love the light and uplifting scent however I find the price quite a bit on the higher side.
