As you all must’ve read by now, I have become obsessed with skincare products and have started taking much better care of my body and skin compared to last year. Kama Ayurveda is one of my favorite ayurvedic brands as most of their products have fared pretty well with me. They recently launched the Vetiver & Sisal Loofah which I am going to review today.

Natural Vetiver & Sisal Loofah is made from the roots of Pure Vetiver (Ramacham/khus). The outer cover of the Loofah is made with Sisal Fiber, which belongs to the Aloe Vera family. Regular use of the Loofah helps to rejuvenate the skin while the properties of the Sisal fiber help prevent pimples and prickly heat rashes.

The Kama Ayurveda Natural Vetiver & Sisal Loofah comes is a luxurious aqua green cardboard box with gold detailing. Inside the loofah is beautifully packaged in beige parchment paper. The box slides out from one side so you can easily keep this for storing your earrings or such as I do not have the heart to throw away this pretty a box. Do you get the same feeling too? I cannot tell you the number of Colorbar boxes I have kept because I find them too pretty to throw them away :p

The first thing that hits you is the sandalwood sort of scent though it contains vetiver roots but it smells quite similar, I must say. It is made up of sisal fiber and contains vetiver roots inside which prevent pimples as well a prickly heat rashes. I always prefer using loofahs as they gently exfoliate the skin hence keep the skin much softer.

The first time I used the Kama Ayurveda Vetiver & Sisal Loofah I felt it a bit too harsh for my skin. My mom on the other hand loved it and after more insistence from her I decided to give it another try. It seems after a couple of uses the loofah had gotten much softer and I instantly fell in love with the results.

It exfoliated my skin, made it softer and the best part is that I noticed my elbows and knees getting much lighter after I have started using this! I would definitely recommend it for those with tanned & rough skin and trust me once you start seeing the results you will most definitely thank me for recommending it! 😀

The Kama Ayurveda Loofah is most definitely expensive though after using it I did find it well worth the price but I know it’ll still hurt if I repurchase it. I have been using it for more than a month and I think it will easily last me another 4 months. I strongly recommend trying this out if you’re in the mood to indulge in something fantastic for your body!

HBM Recommendation: Got rough, tanned or scaly legs? The Kama Ayurveda Natural Vetiver & Sisal Loofah is what you need in your life. I have honestly not loved a product so much to make me rave this much about it. It makes the skin super soft and has lightened my dark elbows and knees which is a feat no product has ever managed. The price does hurt but if you’re looking to indulge yourself and provide some TLC to your body then this should be on your list!
