Korum Salon, GK 1 M Block Market Review
Hiya Lovelies,
One thing that we all girls have in common is that we LOVE to be pampered no matter what. I personally always look forward to my monthly salon/spa visits not just to pamper myself but also to rejuvenate and rewind. I was recently invited by Korum Salon which is located at M Block Market in GK part 1. It is a premium unisex salon which aims to provide world class and top notch services to its customers.
Spread across 1800 sq ft, the salon has seven hair cutting stations along with three recliner shampoo stations. It has a separate pedicure room from the regular service area which is equipped with two reclining sofas and attached pedi-spa stations.
Korum Salon provides its patrons to the world of customized beauty treatments and hair styling by their top Indian and International stylists. Their aestheticians work closely to discover looks that perfectly complement the style-seekers that walk through the doors of the salon. They offer perfectly crafted hair and skin products, coupled with services that far exceed mere indulgence. Korum Salon strives to place themselves as one of the most chic and technically advanced salons in the world.
I tried a number of their services which started off with a Dermalogica Facial. I was first asked to first fill a questionnaire to check if I was on medication and specific skin concerns and later their Dermalogica trained facial therapist inspected my skin and suggested a skin brightening treatment. The facial was done with hands unlike the new age machine massages which I personally don’t enjoy as much. The therapist used advanced facial techniques which made feel extremely relaxed. The result of the facial could instantly be judged as my skin felt extremely soft and brighter.
I moved on to get a L’Oreal Mythic Oil Hair Spa. This was the first time I tried the L’Oreal Mythic Oil range and quite liked the results. I thoroughly enjoyed the amazing head massage given to me during the hair spa however it wasn’t followed up with steam nor provided a hot towel to penetrate the product better. When I discussed this with the salon’s owner I was told that since the Mythic Oil Range is a deeply penetrating product, it doesn’t really require one. Well, I might be wrong but a hair spa is never complete without steam/ hot towel to get the best results out of it.
I was really looking forward to the Spa Manicure & Pedicure with Kiana products. Kiana is well respected brand which is popular for is pedicure products. My hands & feet looked great after the session was over! I also got nail art done with OPI nail paints and yes no prizes for guessing, I chose to get a bow painted on my nails 😀
If you have been following me regularly on Facebook then you must know I chopped off 5- inches of my hair a couple of months back and had the most horrible haircut of my life! I was a bit hesitant to get another one so soon but their senior hair stylist patiently listened to all my concerns and certainly managed to rectify the mess my hair was in to a great extent!
Overall, I had an absolutely amazing time and felt pampered to bits. The salon offers great services and despite the hair spa do-do( yes thats what I chose to call it) I will still recommend their services as you are bound to have a great experience without burning a hole in your pocket.
