Packaging
The Lakme Absolute Shine Sabyasachi Edition eye liners come in a handy cylindrical packaging with a black cap. The packaging is see through hence it is easier to identify a particular color in case you own more than a single shade. The liner comes with a fine brush applicator which is one of the best in the Indian market. It makes drawing the thinnest of lines very easy and is perfect for beginners as one can easily control the application.

Shades
Out of the 2 shades available in the Sabyasachi & Lakme Illuminate collection, I have 2 shades of the Absolute Shine Line. Shimmery Bronze is more of a metallic copper which will go perfectly with ethnic wear. Sparkling Olive on the other hand is a deep forrest green with slight shimmer. Both the shades look gorgeous on the Indian skintone and can be worn in numerous ways. Be it on its own as a winged liner or with a black liner, they add much pizazz. I’m not certain if they are limited edition but I’m pretty sure that the shades are very similar if not the same compared to the other metallic shades already part of the range.

Consistency & Finish
The Lakme Absolute Shine Line Eyeliners have a slightly runny consistency. It takes only a few seconds to dry which is good if you have watery eyes. Unlike the Lakme Absolute Shine Line in Black which is matte, these shades have a beautiful metallic finish and certainly bring the attention the eyes.

Pigmentation & Staying Power
The Lakme Absolute Eyeliner has a decent color pay off. It requires 2 swipes for an opaque pigmentation which can be a bit tricky for those who are not very confident with using an eyeliner. I recall when I was starting to dabble with makeup, going over my liner the second time was always difficult and I mostly ended up ruining it. As for the staying power, it stays put for as long as you don’t rub your eyes too much. It is not water resistant but does survive an occasional rubbing of the eyes.

Prices at Rs. 450, I must say that they are quite affordable. The Absolute Shine Line range has always been a favorite of mine and it is nice to see the brand add more shades and finishes to it.

HBM Rating
4 / 5(Reviewed by Lisha B.)Lakme Absolute Shine Line Shimmery Bronze, Sparkling Olive Review, Swatches & Price
HBM Recommendation: The Sabyasachi Edition of Lakme Absolute Shine Liners has some really beautiful metallic colors. They flatter the Indian skintone well, are perfect for parties and are easy to apply. The staying power is decent but one needs to be careful not to rub their eyes as it will flake off then. Overall, if you are looking for beautiful metallic eyeliners in India then these are your best and affordable bet.

These liners seems good and impressive.
I'm wearing a Sabyasachi nail paint as I look at this post and smile. His colors are definitely something that suits the Indian palette and they gleam like jewels, whether on the nails or the eyes. Very pretty shades!
