L’Occitane Immortelle Precious Cleansing Foam Review & Price in India

I had attended an event held by L’Occitane a few months back where they provided me with their Immortelle Precious Cleansing Foam to try out. I have heard amazing things about this product and since this was my first cleansing foam, I was quite excited to give it a try. Read on to know my experience about it 🙂

A part of our Immortelle Precious anti-aging skincare collection, this foaming cleanser helps to smooth and firm the skin. Made with organic Immortelle floral water, it provides a unique moment of relaxation, leaving behind the soft floral fragrance of this golden flower.

Packaging
The L’Occitane Immortelle Precious Cleansing Foam comes in a blue translucent bottle. You can easily judge the amount of product left which I quite like. Usually, face washes/cleansers come in an opaque tube or bottle making it harder for me to realize when I’m going to run out of it and need to buy a new one.
The beauty of this product is that it looks like liquid but once you pump it, the product comes out as a fluffy foam! I have never used a cleansing foam so for the few days I was almost enamoured by it 😀
Texture & Efficacy
The cleansing foam is white in texture and I only need a pump or 2 for my face and neck. It lathers well and adequately removes the dirt and grime. I have noticed that it even manages to remove makeup which just wins it more brownie points!
Despite it removing the dirt and sweat well, it does not dry out my skin. It is suitable for normal to oily skin type but yeah might be a wee bit drying for those with dry skin.
It definitely brightens up my face but that is just for a few minutes. I honestly do not believe a face wash can roll back the effects of aging but it sure makes my skin feel super soft and smooth to touch <3
Overall, I think its a great cleanser but for the price I found it a bit too expensive. I had a 75ml sample bottle which lasted me a good 2 months so I expect the full sized product to last atleast 4 months. However, for that price, I’d expect it to work miracles! Yeah, if L’Occitane offers a tempting and hefty discount on it then I most definitely will purchase it but not otherwise.
Oh and BTW many people get confused over how to pronounce L’Occitane (I know, I did until a few months ago) Well according to their website it is pronounced as ‘Lox-ee-tahn’
Pros
1) A gentle cleansing foam which does not dry out the skin
2) Adequately removes dirt, grime and sweat
3) You require only a pump or 2 hence it will last a long time
4) Brightens up the face and the skin feels baby soft after usage
5) A light and fresh fragrance which I am quite fond of( but some might not like it as much as I did)
6) Convenient pump packaging
Cons
1) The price is such an ouchie :'(

HBM Recommendation: L’occitane Immortelle Precious Cleansing Foam is a gentle facial cleanser that does not dry out the skin and did not break me out. It adequately removes dirt, grime and even makeup. The foaming cleanser brightens up my face and my skin feels quite soft after usage. However, the price is just way too high and that is the only thing that hold me back from recommending it
