With Cannes 2015 well under way, everyone is buzzing about Katrina Kaif’s recent red carpet appearance and while the reactions have been a mixed bag the L’Oreal Paris makeup collection has been a big hit. This year’s Cannes collection includes the new L’Oréal Extraordinaire Liquid Lipsticks, Colour Riche Swarovski Moist Matte Lipsticks & Super Liner Gel Intenza. I got to try 3 shades from L’Oreal Paris Extraordinaire Liquid Glosses – Rose Symphony– a beautiful rosy pink, Coral Encore– a gorgeous coral with fine gold shimmer that does not look OTT & Plum Quartet – a radiant orchid lipgloss which would flatter fair/light skintone quite well! On an average these last for atleast 4-5 hours and I love the non-sticky texture!

Team Marvellous Matte led by Sonam Kapoor includes the fabulously packaged limited edition L’Oreal Moist Matte Lipsticks (full swatches here). The rose gold packaging comes laden with exquisite stones etched on it and is packaged in a regal velvet box. A perfect gifting option for the lady in your life which is bound to make her happy. The range consists in 12 shades , same as the normal Moist Matt range and the only difference is the packaging.

From the Limited Edition Moist Matte Swarovski Lipstick Range , I tried Cherry Crush– a beautiful blue based pink which is great for lighter skintones, Arabian Night – an intense deep plum purple and Raspberry Syrup (review here) the most gorgeous pink with a red undertone. These lipsticks have a comfortable matte texture and last for a really long time. The only drawback is that the bullets tend to melt or break in summers.

L’Oréal Paris Superliner Gel Intenza 36H

Available in 5 shades, these intense gel eyeliners from L’Oreal Paris are completely smudge-proof. The high color pay off and beautiful shades make it worth a try. It also comes with an eyeliner brush to beautifully define your eyes.

I tried 3 shades from the Super Liner Gel Intenza Range– Diamond Black– a black eyeliner with silver shimmer, Royal Blue– a vibrant metallic blue which looks super sultry on Indian skintone & Sapphire Blue– a navy blue eyeliner with fine shimmer. The texture is super creamy and easy to apply with the brush provided. It lasts for 7-8 hours on my lids without budging.
