The L’Oreal Magique Blushes come in a luxurious rose gold packaging with a mirror finish. The thing with L’Oreal products is that they always have such beautiful packaging that it gets so hard to resist them and you’re bound to atleast check them out once just because of the attractive packaging.

The L’Oreal Paris Lucent Magique Blush comes in 3 strips of different blushes from the same color family with a different finish. It is a compact like packaging and contains a huge mirror inside which is great for touch ups. The blush also comes with a small angled brush which might not be great for application but you can certainly use it for touch ups.

Shade
Besides Blushing Kiss, the other shade that I like in the L’Oreal Lucent Magique Bush range was Sunset Glow. It has 3 strips of peachy-coral shades. It has a matte rosy peach color, a shimmery pinky coral and a pale coral highlighting strip. When swirled together, the blush gives a beautiful rosy-coral flush to the cheeks while subtly highlighting it. Its a shade which is universally flattering but since it isn’t highly pigmented I would recommend it to women with light to medium complexion.

Texture
The texture of the L’Oreal Lucent Magique Blush Sunset Kiss is beautiful. It is finely milled with a soft and smooth texture. Despite having enlarged pores it does not over emphasize them even though it contains shimmer. Since the blush is quite soft it tends to kick up alot of powder making it messy which means more work for a lazy bum like myself.

Pigmentation
L’Oreal Magique Blush in Sunset Glow has a sheer to medium pigmentation. Its one of those blushes which are perfect for beginners as you cannot go wrong with it be it in terms of the color or pigmentation. The blush is buildable but I doubt if it show up well on anyone above NC 42. L’Oreal Blushing Kiss gave a better color pay off compared to this.

Staying Power
Being a light shade, Sunset Glow does not stay put as long as the darker shades in this collection. It lasts for 3-4 hours which isn’t bad but I hate touching up my cheeks. To make it last longer I usually wear a primer and a great foundation as a base for this.

4) Does not over emphasize pores

6) Luxurious and attractive packaging which comes with a huge mirror and brush for touch ups
Cons
1) Might not show up well on dusky beauties
2) The staying power could’ve been better
3) Might be pricey for some but it managed to convert me on the price point *_*

HBM Recommendation: L’Oreal Paris Lucent Magique Blush in Sunset Glow is a flattering peachy pink blush which will go with just about any look or outfit. Its perfect for light to medium skintones and those just starting to experiment with blushes. The pigmentation let me down a bit but the I absolutely adore this range and highly recommend checking this out!
