L’Oreal Revitalift Laser Anti Aging Serum Review & Price in India

Well I might be quite fast when it comes reviewing latest makeup launches but when it comes to skincare I like to use them for more than a month before I properly form my opinion on it. Afterall, a lipstick will always behave the same way everyday but you can only judge a skincare product’s efficacy after regular usage. When L’Oreal sent me their new Laser Anti Aging range to try out I was really excited as I had been hearing really good things about it on international blogs. Ofcourse, I’m too young to be using anti aging products so my mum tested it out for the past 3 months . Read on to find out how well it worked for her.

Packaging
As always L’Oreal scores really high in the packaging department. It comes in a blue and red carton which mentions all the necessary details like ingredients, claims, date of expiry etc. The laser serum comes in a thick red glass bottle with a pump dispenser. It looks quite classy and the pump dispenses adequate quantity of product.
Texture
The serum has a lightweight yet hydrating texture. You need only a pea sized amount for your full face and it gets absorbed quite easily. My mum has normal to oily skin and she has been using this in combination with the Loreal Laser Anti Aging Cream(review coming up) However, with the onslaught of summers she skips the cream these days and when used on its own does not feel drying to her. Though dry skinned beauties might require some more hydration.
Ofcourse, I couldn’t help using it once or twice because it smells so good! It has a light floral scent that I really like and I’m sure it won’t irritate those with a sensitive nose. I’ve noticed it instantly minimizes the appearance of pores making it a good primer to be used under your foundation. I’ve used it as a primer here.
My mom has been using the usual Ponds & Olay Anti Aging creams for the past few years and none of them really worked for her. Some made her skin really oily while others did not show any results. This is the first time that she noticed a visible difference in the texture of her skin as well as wrinkles. Her skin felt more firm, supple and glowing. There was also a remarkable difference in her wrinkles. I wouldn’t say her face is now wrinkle free but yes it looks much more taut and youthful 😀
The price is quite high,no doubt but wouldn’t you rather spend 1500 bucks on something that works than wasting your 500-1000 bucks on anti aging creams that do not really deliver on the results. My mum finished up the serum in 2 months and she ended up buying another bottle!
Pros
1) A lightweight yet moisturizing texture
2) Smoothens out the skin and feels quite soft to touch
3) Can be used as a primer
4) Does not make the skin oily or greasy
5) Gets quickly absorbed in the skin
6) Makes skin firm and taunt
7) Reduces fine lines and wrinkles
Cons
1) Might be a bit drying for dry skinned beauties
2) Extremely expensive for the quantity provided. But trust me its worth it 😉

HBM Recommendation: L’Oreal Laser X3 Serum is a lightweight serum which absorbs quickly into the skin. The skin immediately feels quite soft and it makes for a great primer as well. Upon regular usage it shows great results and makes skin smoother and works on fine lines and wrinkles. The only issue is the high price tag but since it does work well for the skin I do recommend it!

Wow the packaging looks very sleek and expensive! I wish it was more moisturizing though.
You should try out the cream from the same range! Its perfect for dry skin!

I will surely suggest it to my mom!! although my mom uses the other anti wrinkle range from loreal itself and I so agree its better to spend on a working product!!

Odd, for something that is "anti-ageing" it doesn't seem to have any Retinoid - which is what you're supposed to look for.
ha ha I know what you mean but its probably ingredients like Adensoine & Pro-Xylane that make it work so well!
