Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow Raspberry & Orange Review, Swatches, Price & Buy Online India
Maybelline is at it again, at impressing us that is! They recently launched the Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow Lip Crayons/Balms which has to be the cutest thing ever. Though I swear by the original baby lips for the winters but I certainly do not mind them keeping things interesting. I’ve been using this new range for a couple of days so read on to know if these are worth buying despite the higher price tag.

Packaging
The USP of this range will definitely be its packaging. The new Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow comes in a bright retractable packaging. It is color coded according to the flavours making it easier to identify incase you own more than 1 of these. It is a chubby lip crayon with a rounded tip. The packaging is absolutely adorable and its just one of those products you want to indulge yourself with just because of the packaging.
Texture
The Candy Wow Baby Lips Lip Balms have a soft and creamy texture They apply easily onto the lips and moisturize well. I don’t think they are as hydrating as the Spiced Up Baby Lips or the original version but they still do manage to moisturize the lips quite well. I love the finish of these balms as its very glossy and makes the lips look healthy.
Shades & Pigmentation
So I have Raspberry & Orange from the Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow range and both the shades are well pigmented. Raspberry is a beautiful berry pink which is girly and perfect for college girls. Orange is a warm toned orange which will flatter all skintones and does not look OTT. The shades provide good coverage for a lip balm and they are more pigmented than the Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Pop Lip Balms. They kind of remind me of a sheer lipstick which adds a hint of color but does not cover lip pigmentation to a great extent.
Staying Power
The wear time of the Maybelline Candy Wow Balms is decent and lasts for around 2-3 hours. The color tends to fade if you have a full meal but it doesn’t dry out the lips. I feel the hydrating power of the original Baby Lips is better but the color pay off of the Candy Wow is better.

HBM Recommendation: Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow is a newer and cuter twist to the original Baby Lips balms. It is a chubby lip crayon which provides decent hydration and with a good color pay off for a lip balm. Its one of those products that you don’t necessarily need but would love to own atleast one of these flavours in your kitty.

The pigmentation looks great and I really loved both the shades. The are slightly pricey but more at this price I would have expected a bit more product. .. I dont think these ones would last long..
