Packaging
The Maybelline Matte + Poreless Foundation comes in a rectangular glass bottle with a black screw on cap. The bottle is not heavy yet feels sturdy. It does not come with a pump and has a wide rim for dispensing the foundation which is bit of an issue with me. I always end up taking out more product than needed as its hard to control the amount with the wide spout and at times it also ends up dripping at the side of the bottle. However, it is travel friendly as I recently travelled with it on my trip and *luckily* nothing happened to it.

Shades
Like I mentioned in the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Swatches, the range consists of warm yellow toned foundations which is a plus considering we Indians primarily have a yellow undertone. I initially got 230 Natural Buff which is more orange toned and was too dark for me and will suit medium complexion. Recently, I got a shade lighter to that, 128 Warm Nude which is a yellow toned beige thats suits me so much better. This shade is perfect for light to fair girls.

Texture
The new Maybelline Foundation has a slightly thick texture. I was expecting something a bit lighter as its meant for oily skin. However, it blends easily into the skin. I’ve applied this with my BeautyBlender as well as blended it out with my fingers and it works both the ways. If you have dry skin, then it is not suitable for you as it tends to horribly stick to dry patches. Ofcourse why would you pick up a matte foundation if you have dry skin in the first place but I read a few reviews mentioning that it also works well for dry skinned women, well it doesn’t so pls save your money. I hope they soon launch the Maybelline Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation in India to cater to that need.

Coverage & Staying Power
The Maybelline Fit Me Foundation provides a light to buildable coverage. I usually get better coverage when I apply it with hands compared to a beauty blender, so what I usually do is dot some product on my face, blend it with my fingers and then just dab it with a damp beauty blender or RT sponge. The coverage is decent for daily wear but do not expect it to hide blemishes or scars. This just evens out the skin and makes it look more healthy.
Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation 128 Warm Nude 230 Natural Buff Swatches & Review
The Maybelline Foundation provides a decent wear time of about 6-7 hours. Here in Delhi this kept my face shine free for a solid 5-6 hours but thats not much to write about as its not hot here. In Hyderabad, I was out exploring the city in the sun and my face was shine free for about 3 hours. I needed a touch up every few hours because of the oil but the foundation survived pretty well in the heat and did not budge much. Its a decent foundation for summers, suitable for those with combination to oily skin. However, those with extremely oily skin will need to regularly powder their face.

HBM Recommendation: Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation is one of the best affordable foundations for combination to oily skin in India. Its the perfect daily wear foundation with its light to buildable coverage, natural matte finish and decent staying power. It keeps the face shine free for around 3 hours which is pretty decent coming from a drugstore brand. Highly recommend it for summers!

Nicely reviewed lee ? and couldn't agree more with the pros and cons stated above... I do like this foundation for daily basis... But I hate the fact that it dries so fast when you apply it that one needs to be super quick to blend it out else it looks patchy ?
I agree but I'm really liking the finish these days!
Nice review ! You look lovely Lisha, I love how sleek this foundation's bottle is. A good buy it looks like for oily skinned beauties.
Thanks Vishakha!
Definitely great for the coming summers
Bad news for me. I have dry patches every now and then. I should not invest on this. Your last post for dry skin foundations is better investment for me.
Yep, definitely not for dry skin!
first, its so hard to get the perfect shade and secondly, i have a combination skin, my cheeks are dry and so applying this makes my skin look patchy. I have a love hate relation with this one.
P.S i love how you explain every little thing in all of your posts. Love ya. :*
Looking forward to tying this foundation. Heard so many rave reviews.
I have a combination skin sometimes which becomes very dry in cheek area .. As well as I sweat a lot.. I have fair skin.. should I use it??
