Maybelline Fit Me Set + Smooth Pressed Powder 310 Sun Beige Review, Swatches, Price & Buy Online India
Maybelline has been on a roll with their new launches this year and we have covered the entire Fit Me range here on HBM. As I mentioned in the Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder Swatches, I wasn’t that impressed with this product primarily because of the limited shade range. I have been using this new Maybelline compact for quite sometime now so read on to know if its really worth buying!

Maybelline Fit Me Set + Smooth Powder Review
Product Description
Flawless. Beautiful. Fresh. With Fit Me!® powder foundation you can make visible pores and shine disappear while still getting perfect buildable coverage. It comes in with a mirror and a sponge for easy application. The pressed powder glides on easily and is perfect for a light coverage.

Packaging
The Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder is packaged in a black square packaging with a see through lid. The compact has 2 compartments with the top compartment containing the pressed powder and the bottom half contains the puff along with the mirror. The packaging isn’t of the best quality and might feel a bit cheap to some. I don’t mind the packaging but since the price is higher compared to other Maybelline products, I expected better.

Shade
Like I said before, the new Maybelline Fit Me Set + Smooth Powders primarily have pale colors in the range. Even though the compact shades are said to be corresponding to the liquid foundation shades, I did not find it to be a close match at all. I’m a 128 Warm Nude in Maybelline Fit Me Foundation but only 310 Sun Beige Fit Me Powder suited me. This is the darkest shade in this range and does not look ashy on me. Its a yellow toned beige which would suit fair skintone. For reference, I’m NC 30-35 in MAC.

Texture
The Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder is very finely milled and soft in texture. I apply such powders with a big fluffy brush and due to the soft texture it does kick up alot of product. I really like the finish as it mattifies the face but does not feel too dry or cakey. I use it more as a setting powder on top of my foundation to keep it in place. It also claims to be suitable for normal to dry skin while claiming to keep the skin shine free which is a bit contradictory.

Coverage & Staying Powder
The Fit Me Powder provides a sheer coverage hence its not something I would use on its own on a daily basis. It works better as a translucent powder for setting the under eye area and the T zone. I feel the Maybelline Super Fresh Compact provides better coverage and keeps the face matte for a longer period of time compared to this one. It keeps my face shine free only for a few hours after which I feel the need for a touch up.
Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder 310 Sun Beige Swatch & Review
There are 2 things that I did not like about the product- the price and the shade range. Since most of the Maybelline compacts that I’ve tried over the years have worked better compared to the Fit Me powder, I find the price a bit steep. Secondly, Maybelline launched only 5 shades (that too the paler ones) out of the 18 available in the west which is its biggest drawback. Had they introduced more warmer shades then the range would’ve probably received more love.
Pros of Maybelline Fit Me Powder
1) Finely milled and soft in texture
2) Does not feel too dry or cakey
3) Works well as a setting powder
Cons of Maybelline Fit Me Powder
1) The range primarily contains pale shades hence finding a match will be difficult for warm skintones
2) Keeps the face matte for only a couple of hours
3) Flimsy packaging
4) The price is a bit high for a Maybelline product
HBM Rating
3.5 / 5(Reviewed by Lisha B.)Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder 310 Sun Beige Review, Swatches, Price & Buy Online
HBM Recommendation: Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder is a finely milled compact which gives a natural matte finish. However, the cons outweigh its good qualities. The coverage is pretty sheer plus the poor shade range is very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re a huge Maybelline fan and enjoy trying out their latest launches.
PR Sample. However, my opinion remains honest and unbiased.

Seriously dude. It is such a task to find correct match in this shade. It took me so long to decide which shade to order online. And even after that I ordered a wrong shade. Huhh. Also, for compact powder I am still wondering which one to get! I think 310 will suit me. Plz suggest.
310 is probably a safe bet or best to try it out at the stores first!
This shade looks like having pink to beige undertones. India has people mostly having yellow undertones so it will difficult to find perfect shades.
true plus such paler shades!
Not finding a matching shade is definitely a huge con! Also I like my compacts to be atleast medium coverage ones... since I do not use foundations on regular basis! This one does not sound worth checking out! Thanks for sharing your honest review Lee <3
Yeah, much better options available in the market!
Though the packaging is flimsy and inappropriate I still like how it looks idk why ?
Nicely reviewed lee ?
Waiting for the outfit posts and hope you enjoyed your outings
hahaha I get it, when I first saw it, I quite liked it but then the quality felt cheap.
They are coming up soon :D
This is such a great range. Bit I can't understand why they launched very few shades in India.
Same here, everyone loved this range because of the shade selection and thats its biggest con here.
I didn't get an exact match to my skintone, all looked ashy or too dark on me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts :D
I'm not surprised! They should've launched more shades.
