The Nature’s Co Chocolate Mint Lip Balm Review & Price
The Nature’s Co Chocolate Mint Lip Balm Review & Price
Hey Lovelies,
Since I have dry lips I tend to hoard alot of lip balms. The thing is that I tend to get bored very easily when it comes lip balms so I end up with way too many of them, hence I feel like a bit of an expert when it comes to lip balms. Usually I prefer fruity lip balms but when I got a Chocolate & Mint Lip Balm in The Nature’s Co. Wishbox I was quite excited give it a try and today I finally got around to reviewing it.

Packaging
I have a sample size of The Nature’s Co Chocolate Mint Lip Balm which was limited edition and came in a plastic heart packaging. The full size product comes in a gorgeous glass size cuboid which to be honest looks quite bulky and is not at all travel friendly as it break easily if you drop it.
Being a tub packaging you need to dip in your fingers to apply the lip balm which is very unhygienic and inconvenient. I personally detest a tub packaging for lip balms and prefer buying lip balms with a twist up mechanism instead.
Texture
The Nature’s Co Lip Balm has a bit of thick and hard texture hence I really need to dig in my fingers to get an appropriate amount of product. It applies easily but sort of feels waxy and sits on my lips. I have tried thick lip balms like the Burt Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm in the but they absorb easily and this just does not.
Staying Power & Efficacy
The wear time is decent for a lip balm and stays put for about 2-3 hours without drying out my lips. It adequately moisturizes my pout but did not manage to heal my chapped lips in the winters. The Nature’s Co Chocolate Mint Lip Balm is non tinted and just adds a slight shine to the lips which is good because then it can be worn under lipsticks as well.
Scent
I’m not too fond of the chocolate and mint combo and thankfully it smells nothing like it. The lip balm smells more like caramel and totally reminds me of a caramel toffee. If you love warm caramel-y scents then you are bound to like this as well!
Pros
1) A delicious warm caramel scent
2) Decent staying power
3) Non tinted hence can be worn under lipsticks
4) Provides decent moisturization
Cons
1) Thick and waxy texture which does not absorb well
2) Did not heal my chapped lips
3) The product needs to be warmed up alot by the fingers
4) Expensive for the quality
5)The packaging is made up of glass hence not travel friendly
HBM Rating
HBM Reccommendation: The Nature’s Co Chocolate-Mint Lip Balm is a decent balm for those with normal to slightly dry lips however for the price I feel there are much better options available in the market. It did not heal my chapped lips and I’m not too fond of the waxy texture either. Unless you’re absolutely crazy about the caramel scent I will not recommend it at all!
