I just luuurveee glosses and what makes them even better? A really affordable price tag which is exactly what NYX offers! NYX is my favorite drugstore brand which offers great quality products at pocket friendly prices. I usually prefer buying it through international sites as it turns out much cheaper compared to Indian sites or stores despite the shipping. Today I’m going to review NYX Butter Gloss in Peach Cobbler which is one of the best shades for warm complexions!

Packaging
NYX Butter Gloss comes in a color coded and opaque lipgloss packaging. Since the gloss is color coded it eases identification and also has a sticker with the shade name on the bottom. The lipgloss comes with a doe foot sponge applicator which applies the product evenly and is of decent quality. Overall, I quite like the color coded packaging and is travel friendly.

Shade
NYX Butter Gloss – Peach Cobbler is a peachy coral which looks amazing against the Indian skintone. I expected it to be very orange like it was in the swatch but on the lips it looks more like a light reddish-coral than an orange. This will flatter pretty much all complexions and is perfect for summers!
Texture
These NYX Butter Glosses have a very creamy and smooth texture. They literally glide on like butter and feel really comfortable on the lips. I must admit that though I adore the NYX Butter Glosses but they do feel a wee bit sticky. Nothing major that will turn you off but yes its definitely not non sticky. It gives a luscious and glossy finish which I absolutely adore!
Pigmentation
These have a medium pigmentation which means that NYX Butter Gloss is not sheer but neither does it give an opaque coverage.Peach Cobbler easily covers moderate pigmentation of lips but will not hide it completely. I really like such buildable glosses as they are perfect for everyday wear and do not scream for attention.
Staying Power
Being a gloss it does not last super long on the lips and gives me a wear time of about 3 hours. Due to the slightly sticky texture it manages to survive small snacks but requires a touch up in case of a full meal or drinks. I find the staying to be pretty decent for a gloss and do not have any complaints regarding it.

HBM Recommendation: NYX Butter Gloss in Peach Cobbler is a gorgeous peachy-coral which will flatter all skintones. It has a buttery texture which though slightly sticky hydrates the lips quite well. The luscious finish, good pigmentation and decent staying power make it an absolute winner. Oh and if that wasn’t enough the affordable price tag should seal the deal!

ha ha think it's probably the former ;) I wasn't too sure about this color as I do not like orange lipcolors that much but it turned out well :)
