The NYX Butter Glosses comes in opaque color coded tubes which look cute and girly. I own quite a few of these and the color coded packaging makes identification of a particular shade quite easy. The NYX lipgloss comes with a sponge doe foot applicator which is of decent quality. Fits into the smallest of clutches and is obviously quite travel friendly.

NYX Peaches & Cream Butter Gloss is a beautiful peachy bubblegum pink which is bright but not in your face. The color is apt for young girls, well just about anyone but since girls can’t wear very bright shades, this is perfect for them. Peaches and Cream is certainly my favorite out of the range though Cherry Pie comes a close second.

NYX Butter Gloss melts on the lips and feels just like butter. Very similar to NYX Peach Cobbler Butter Gloss in texture, it is hydrating but slightly sticky. It does not feel uncomfortable and the stickiness wouldn’t bother you unless you abhor it. NYX Peaches & Cream Lipgloss can be a bit uneven in coverage hence needs a bit of work during application.

Pigmentation
It is one of the brighter and less paler shades in the range hence the pigmentation is pretty good. Depending on the coats, the butter gloss gives a sheer to medium pigmentation. On its own, the gloss cannot fully cover pigmentation of lips so those with pigmented lips might require a lipstick or a lip liner underneath.

Staying Power
The NYX Lipgloss stays put for 3-4 hours after which it needs to re-touched. Due to the slight sticky texture it does survive drinks but you’ll need to re-apply it after some snacks or a meal. For a lipgloss worth $5 I surely don’t mind touching it up a couple of times.
