Have you ever loved an item in your closet so much that it inspires you? For me that has never happened until I got this gorgeous maxi dress with a pop of neon. I have loved wearing maxi dresses this summers and if I had to choose a favorite then it’d most definitely be this. I was really excited for this look and wanted everything to be but just perfect- right from the hair, accessories and the location of the shoot.
I searched high and low for the perfect accessories to match this gorgeous number with and while I agree it looks a bit druid–ish but I felt like a bohemian princess in a fantasy land!
My summer style is pretty much laidback and casual and maxi dresses are the best way to beat the heat in style. This particular one is beige in color but has a pop of neon to brighten up the outfit. I got this from Sammydress and you can buy it here.I have always felt maxi dresses don’t suit my small frame but it’s all about finding the right fit and design. I still think some strappy maxi dresses look horrible on me so I strongly suggest experimenting with different styles and finding the best that suits you.

Since the dress is of a subtle color I totally went crazy with the accessories and paired it with some bold pieces. I am loving neon alot these days and living in Delhi is a boon for those who love accessories. Lajpat Nagar is my favorite place to shop for it especially shoes and hair accessories. If you are visiting Delhi anytime soon then make sure you do not miss a visit to Lajpat Nagar as you are bound to find some great deals there!
Floral Crowns are all the rage this season and I am excited to get onto the bandwagon. I personally feel it went really well with the whole look and totally made me feel like princess though I ended up stopping people in their tracks when I wore it 😀 This dainty rosette crown looks great when you let your hair down and can also be used as a headband!
I am a heels girl, yes you will find me travelling in the metro in atleast 3 inches of wedge heels because I love em. I don’t know why people think short girls NEED heels, I certainly am not at all conscious of my height and I always think its a great advantage since I can rock sky high heels and still have my boo look taller than me 😀 Anyhoo I decided to give a break to my heels for this post and love this pretty pair of sandals that can be paired with many outfits.

For this outfit I went with a simple smokey eye which basically meant a brown eyeshadow with smudged kajal. I very rarely wear orange lip colors and I decided step out my comfort zone and rock one. I don’t like bold shades in a glossy finish but turns out I do not own any matte orange lipstick so Colorbar True Gloss in Coral Craving had to do. I am wearing L’Oreal Magique Blush in Blushing Kiss which is my absolute favorite these days though its looking very different here because of the warm color temperature of the pictures!

this is an amazing look i must say! when it comes to maxi dresses i love them though finding dresses for my body type is a bit of a difficulty..u know how hourglass with short body types suffer when it comes to choosing the perfect dresses!!!...i must say that u simply rocked the look..from ur accesories to the dress to the sandals and the amazing makeup spelt elegance in its true literal meaning!.....AND AND AND how i love the maxi dress!!!!!..all my maxi dresses are floral ones....i think now i have to find one exactly like yours...i want maxi dresses for summer,monsoon and winters...oh i think m gonna dream about maxi dresses tonight!!

And I hear ya gal! Finding a perfect fit for hourglass figures is extremely hard though maxis do make it a bit easier. White getting this shot I was telling my mum how I wish we could have some winter appropriate maxi dresses. They are just soooo comfortable that I never want to get out of one
