I just need a reason to dress up and ASUS gave me the perfect excuse. I recently came across an interesting contest held by ASUS Zenfone on Facebook where you could design your own mobile cover. How amazing it is to be able to showcase your personal style through your cover. That got me thinking, my personal style has evolved over the years from girly and pretty to more laidback casual with a bit of oomph. When I was designing the cover, I felt it would be interesting to style my next outfit post around it, my personal style.

Winters are well and truly here so I’ve been dressing down up in my cozy woollen shrugs and leggings. You tend to bring out your darker and solid shades in this weather but I always like to break the monotony with a pop of color. So for today’s look I dressed up in all black with a bright cami. I tend to feel cold quite easily hence I’m not the kind of girl to roam around in dresses even if though I can never stop wearing my ripped leggings, no matter the season.

Dressed up in all black, I wore this warm and snuggle-y woollen shrug that I picked up when I recently visited the Pepe Jeans Custom studio (more on that later). I love the flowing silhouette and it hides the flab perfectly. The shrug feels extremely comfortable and warm and has become my favorite piece of clothing in winters to wear over everything- tops, dresses etc!

My love for ripped leggings isn’t dying anytime soon and I’ve been wearing this black pair very often. Its finally ‘ripped enough’ to make me look like a hobo so I’m thinking of getting aother pair soon. Completed the all black grungy look with a pink cami to break the monotony of black.

For the accessories, kept things minimilistic with a basic black sling bag and my white Nike  Dunks. These wedge-sneakers by Nike have been my best investment till date, they are not only comfortable but look great and can be paired with just about anything.
