And if you’re an Indian then Priyanka Chopra’s sizzling red carpet appearance at the Oscars 2016 might also be a highlight. For us, it has always been about those stunning dresses, on point makeup and hair with sensational jewelry that the A-listers rock at the red carpet. Priyanka stunned everyone with her debut at the Oscars 2016 Red Carpet. The Indian beauty chose a Zuhair Murad gown from his spring summer 2016 collection. Her white gown with sheer detailing was an absolute stunner and its no wonder that she was one of the best dressed celebrities of the night. Her makeup and jewelry was subtle and complimented the gown well.
2) Charlize Theron at Academy Awards 2016 Red Carpet
A splash of red on the red carpet can be a little tricky. But the blonde bombshell took the risk and it paid off. Her svelte frame carried the plunging neckline of the scarlet Christian Dior gown very well.
3) Saoirse Ronan at Oscars 2016 Red Carpet
The actress was nominated for the best actress for her role in “Brooklyn” and while she might not have taken home the trophy but she sure turned alot of heads at the red carpet. Saoirse adorned an emerald Calvin Klein gown and she was totally slaying it. She carried the deep open back and the sequined gown with so much grace and the color looked absolutely gorgeous against her skintone. Total love!

Jennifer Garner wowed us all at the Oscars red carpet in her stunning black gown. The black Atelier gown had a asymmetrical neckline with half embellished bodice and partially draped skirt. She completed the look with stunning jewelry and sandals.

Jennifer Lawrence wore a sheer Dior gown with a deep neckline in black. What sealed the deal was definitely her hair and makeup. The black soft smokey eyes paired with pale lips gave her a mystic charm. Jennifer was nominated for her fourth Oscar for Best Actress category for her role in the movie Joy.
6) Oscars 2016 Best Dressed: Julianne Moore
Julianne wore a custom Chanel Haute Couture gown with an embroidered bodice. It was the same gown which Kendall Jenner modeled during Chanel’s Paris Fashion Week. Moore carried the plunging neckline gown with great poise. She has aged so gracefully and is giving her younger counterparts a run for their money. She paired her bold black dress with shimmery Chopard jewelry and loose wavy hair.
7) Best Oscars Red Carpet Dresses: Alicia Vikander
The star who won the award for supporting actress wore a Louis Vuitton gown in pale yellow. While we weren’t huge fans of the gown initially but later on when she mentioned she dressed up like Belle from the Disney movie, we fell hook, line and sinker for it. She completed her look with drop earrings, tousled half updo and glossy lips with smokey eyes.
8) Brie Larson at Oscars 2016 Red Carpet
The pre-eminent personality of the evening Brie Larson, grabbed the Best actress
Award at the Oscars this year for her role in the movie ‘Room’ and was a stunner at the red carpet. The choice of the cobalt blue dress was elegant and refreshing. She chose to wear a Gucci gown with ruffles at the bottom and an embellished belt at waist.
9) Lady Gaga Red Carpet Appearance at Oscars 2016
The eccentric popstar managed to amaze the audience one more time with her dressing sense at 88th Academy Awards Red carpet. Gaga wore a pantsuit-gown. The crisp white suit came with a train and she looked suave in it. She wore jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz worth $8 million. Wowza!
10) Cate Blanchett at 2016 Oscars Red Carpet
Cate appeared in an Armani Prive seafoam green gown. It was embellished with Swarovski crystals and had hand sewn florettes on it. Her jewelry was from Tiffany and Co, which was breathtakingly beautiful. Makeup was kept subtle with a wash of copper on the eyes. Given the design of the gown, it might have looked tacky if not worn carefully but Cate was an absolute diva in it.
