Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil Review, Price & Buy Online in India

Palmer’s silently launched their products in India last year and its only recently that I got to know about them when I was invited over by the brand for a little get together. I have always wanted to try Palmer’s products and was really happy to know that their products are not only easily available but the prices are quite decent as well. Today I shall be reviewing the Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil.
Product Description
Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula With Vitamin E Skin Therapy Oil is a multi-purpose skin perfecting oil which can be used all over the body including the face. It is enriched with Canola Oil, Cocoa Butter, Vitamin E which has natural moisturiser, improve presence of scars, stretch marks, dry, damaged skin, uneven skin tone, aging skin, fine lines and wrinkles.

Packaging
The Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil comes in a long plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The bottle is transparent hence you can easily tell when you shall be running out if it and would require a back up. The pump dispenses adequate product however my bottle seems to leak making it not so travel friendly. I haven’t read any complaints on the packaging so I guess the issue is exclusive to my bottle.
Texture
I am extremely lazy when it comes to applying moisturizers or body oils plus the hot climate in Delhi does not help matters either. The biggest reason why I do not use anti stretch mark oils/lotion is because they are usually too hydrating and make my skin very greasy. The Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil on the other hand is lightweight and does not make my skin greasy at all. It is a bit runny in texture and is much lighter than most oils. It requires a bit of massage to absorb well into the skin so I usually apply this at night. I do not mind spending some extra effort massaging it in as I feel it’ll only help with my cellulite so win-win 😀
Efficacy
My weight has fluctuated alot in the past few years which has led to a number of stretch marks on my calves and bust area. I started using The Body Shop Vit E Body Butter to reduce them but since it felt too heavy even in winters, I stopped using it within a few weeks. As the Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil is much lighter yet hydrating, I have been religiously using it every night for the past 2 months. It does not stain and smells like a combination of warm cocoa and vanilla and is absolutely divine.
It claims to reduce scars, stretch marks, uneven and aging skintone along with dry and damaged skin. I have normal skin type and it adequately moisturizes it. The Skin Therapy Oil has certainly lightened my skin a bit but not to a great extent. However, this is the first product that managed to make a visible difference to my stretch marks. I had very light stretch marks on my bust which have almost diminished. As for my calves, the marks were quite prominent and they have lightened a bit, say about 30% which is impressive. I’m sure if I continue using this the stretch marks would lighten even more over time.
The Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil is perfect for use in summers ideally at night and I will probably use the Palmer’s Cocoa Body Butter in winters which is much more nourishing, hydrating and will probably give better results. Palmer’s products are easily available at major departmental stores and pharmacies as well as online on websites.
Pros
1) Lightweight yet hydrating texture
2) Does not make the skin greasy or stain clothes
3) Claims to even out the skintone besides reducing stretch marks
4) Made a noticeable difference in reducing light as well as prominent stretch marks
5) Highly suitable for pregnant women to prevent stretch marks and sagging skin
6) A little goes a long way hence the price is quite decent
Cons
1) My bottle tends to leak a bit
2) It is not a miracle product. You need to use it regularly for it show decent results
HBM Rating
HBM Recommendation: Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil is a lightweight oil which does not make the skin greasy or stain the clothes. It needs a bit of massage to properly absorb into the skin hence I prefer to apply it at night. The oil showed great results on light stretch marks and has reduced the appearance of prominent ones on my calves a bit. I have used this for 2 months and I’m sure the marks will lighten over time with regular usage. Highly recommended!

Hey Jazz, I used Bio Oil for a month but didn't notice much of a difference however it prevented my sister from stretch marks when she was pregnant :)
I used this but dont u think it has issues getting absorbed?? even after 3-4 hours of applying, it still sits of my skin and makes everything greasy!
oh not at all. After a couple of minutes of massage it gets absorbed very easily

This is a dry oil and quite lightweight. You should definitely give this a try!
