Best Epilator in India: Philips Satinelle Advanced Epilator BRE210 Review, Price & Buy Online India
Hair removal has been one of the constant headaches in my life. From waxing to epilation, shaving to depilatory creams, there are many options for removing hair and everyone has their own favorite. Being an experimental person, I’ve tried pretty much all the methods to find the one that I am most comfortable with and my top 2 methods are definitely waxing and epilation. They do hurt, no doubt but these are the only methods that give smooth, hair free days for a good amount of time. Philips recently launched a new range of epilators and I shall be reviewing the Satinelle Advanced Epilator BRE210 today.
Price: Rs 5,995
Can be bought online at Flipkart & Amazon India
Product Description
Enjoy long lasting smoothness with Philips Satinelle Advanced epilator. Gently removes hairs at the root, as short as 0.5mm. Hairs grow back thinner and more slowly to enjoy up to 4 weeks hair-free skin. Use wet or dry.
The new Philips Satinelle Advanced Epilator comes in a pink carboard box which contains the product along with its attachments and a white pouch to store them. Now, I know I’m nitpicking a bit but for Rs 6,000 I was expecting the packaging to be a bit more fancy as the last time I bought a Philips Epilator, it was so beautifully packaged and had this gorgeous satin pouch that I still own. Anyhoo, since one rarely stores these cardboard boxes (unlike me) I guess it isn’t much of an issue.

The Satinelle Advanced Epilator is a battery operated device which comes with 2 speed settings. I love the fact that is cordless as the previous model I own isn’t so convenient to use because of the cord which keeps getting tangled anyway. The best part about the particular model is that it can be used both wet and dry so you can easily use it in the privacy of your shower without a worry!
Besides, the epilation head, the product also comes with a shaving attachment and a sensitive cap for epilating the delicate areas like the under arms and the bikini line. A unique aspect is the skin stretcher attachment, I’m not sure if other brands provide the same but its the first time I’ve gotten it with an epilator and I must say it does help in epilating the hair without the fuss of you having to stretch the skin yourself, making the hair removal process much easier.

Now coming to the comparison, when it comes to the pain, personally I feel waxing and epilation hurt the same. I’ve heard that some women find epilation a bit more painful but on areas like the arms and legs I find it more comfortable than waxing. The biggest advantage I feel is the convenience. My sister who recently embraced motherhood finds it almost impossible to find time for herself with a naughty infant and a trip to the parlour is hard for her. She recently switched to epilation and her life has become much, much easier.
The Philips Satinelle Epilator manages to remove hair as short as 0.5 mm which waxing cannot. The wide epilation head and high tweezer motions per second of the Philips Advanced Epilator, results in quick and easy hair removal. The epilator also comes with a small brush to clean the epilating head.
Philips Satinelle range offers 3 epilators which are designed to offer complete hair removal. These gadgets are ergonomic, compact and hygienic. The range offers epilators priced between Rs 2495 to Rs 5995, thus a model to suit every girl’s budget.

Renji, for in grown hair only regular exfoliation can help!
i cringe when i need to use an epilator but it gets the job done fast and quick in the comfort of your own home. Always agree with your ratings on products. truly enjoy reading your take on everything, Lee :)
I'm so delighted to hear that! Thanks sweety
Sounds nice! I never dared to use epilator, but someday I might get the courage!
Oh trust me, its not as bad as waxing :)
I always had a good experience with most of the philips products.... I totally avoid at-home waxing strips or even hair removal creams.... but this one looks like a good choice !
Me too! I always trust the brand when it comes to personal grooming products
Thanks for the information, it's really helpful. I was also planning rather thinking to buy the one.
Its quite strange to know that how you beauty bloggers change and prove your views as per the products you receive from the companies. If I look at you Gillette Venus razor post then razor is splendor, if I look at you Philips epiliator post then epiliator is God of all. So tomorrow if Veet approaches you, you are again going to change your view on hair removal creams and prove it the best of all....huh?
Hi Priyanka,
Thanks for your comment. If you would spend more time then you would realize these aren't sponsored posts and are written by different writers about their experience. There are many methods of hair removal, all with their advantages and disadvantages.
And yes as a matter of fact we might just feature depilatory creams too. Thanks for the idea ;)
